Boasting a patio and onsite bar and restaurant, Hyatt Place Lansing-East is set in Lansing. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk.

This hotel is super clean and very nice! We loved our room as it was large and very comfortable. Unfortunately the staff at the front desk while checking in and checking out were super rude. Both women upon check in and checking out were so cold and incredibly short. I had to ask about parking and the one that checked us in gave us the weekend times for breakfast when we were there on a weekday so we missed it. Then the woman at check out gave me some long speech about how they don’t have FREE coffee after 9am and now I had to pay for it. When all I asked was coffee over along with breakfast. I would have loved the stay at this hotel but the staff was so rude I’m not sure I would go back. Really unfortunate cause our favorite restaurant is right across the street!

Downtown Lansing is my favorite place on the planet.

Downtown Lansing is my favorite place on the planet. There's nothing like the energy downtown on a Saturday night after a Lugnuts game or a Nuthouse Nuttyfest. Having the hotel and Meijer right there downtown was the perfect amenities to making an out of town trip to downtown absolutely perfect.

House keeping and cleaning facilities is planned once in a week by the hotel management which is not good especially when rooms are having kitchen and double occupancy. Room are required to be cleaned on daily basis. Even after request to front desk about same house keeping were not provided.

    Staff wasn't friendly.

Staff wasn't friendly. Other guest were not very respectful towards other guest.one guest was out of control. Fighting with her spouse. I was minding g my own business and I was startled to something hitting my room . And it was cuz this other lady guest was strung out on God only knows. She ended smashing her wind shield out of her vehicle in the parking lot. Scream stumping her feet like a anger toddler right above my room for a good half hour.and then just kept going on and on until finally the left and never did come come back that night or the next day. I had a man talk to me outside when I was out smoking a cigarette and he was sitting in his vehicle smoking weed for a good 30mins. He said hello to me and I was nice and said hello and then after that he was getting a little to friendly and personal and had the balls to ask if he could come knock on my door in a few minutes. I said no thank you I am not interested in something like he was trying and hoping for. Come to find out he has a wife and I made sure to induce myself to her. So her man hopefully didn't try to get me naked. And the toilet about falls over when u stand up off it cuz it not bolted to the floor

Amazing stay. Great view. Staff noted everything in detail in advance to be sure my friend was surprised coming in. They allowed me in early enough to set up and a free check out late at 2pm. Amazing accommodation will stay again!!

Downtown Lansing was Beautiful. Nice souvenir shops. A MUST is a visit to The Peanut Shop. They have the BEST prices and buttery flavored JUMBO Cashews in the land. They sell all types of nuts, candies and popcorn, made fresh everyday. Do yourself and your friends There were a number of Malls to shop in this area. The Restaurants were AWESOME as well

A hotel with infinitely more character than the usual cookie-cutter blandness you find at every turn-off. The swimming pool was in an atmospheric atrium. This is a place with real charm. The staff was the warmest and kindest - showing their true wonderful heart and abilities during an incident during my stay when a non-verbal 2-year-old was found wandering the hallways in nothing but a diaper, and the staff came together to care for him and find his parents. Also the included breakfast was well above average.

Front desk staff accommodated a room switch for me right after check-in. I was on the front side of the building facing the parking lot. There was a lot of noise from the lot. Staff allowed me to take a room on the back side of the building with no hesitation. It was much more quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. Breakfasts were very, very good. Location was close to major highways and restaurants.
