McCarthy – 2 hotels and places to stay

Located in McCarthy, Wrangell Mountain Lodge- Private Bathroom with shower has accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and river views.

The cabins are comfortable with a truly excellent heater. I like that each cabin comes with bear spray. It is about half way between Chitna and McCarthy. This is an excellent location. Having a private bath is also a big plus. The breakfast that James and Christina serves is truly magnificent. Should we be back that way again then this is a place we would stay.

Blackburn Cabins - McCarthy, Alaska is located in McCarthy. Featuring free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a grill.

The cabin itself was very cozy, had a great supply of kitchen basics, the shower was warm, the outhouse was fine, and it was a nice spot to be. It was easy to access everything via the shuttle that runs down the street and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were nice.
