It is a great adventure town for hiking with dogs.
It is a great adventure town for hiking with dogs. As a heart patient, I don't eat out, but the Moonflower Coop is a gift, as are the two major supermarkets with a wide variety of fresh produce and healthy foods. Back of Beyond Books is a treasure. On the doorstep of Arches NP Moab has something for everyone. We love the town and the landscape is beguiling. So good. The National park is one of the most stunning in the US. Look out for Hidden arch , it feels like you’re heading into Petra and the monoliths that welcome you are like giant sentries. Moab is exquisitely beautiful, with all kinds of fun outdoor activities to do, especially in Arches and Canyonland national parks. The weather can be an issue, but we lucked out: it wasn't too hot, and the bit of rain that we got didn't stop us from hiking. There are some good restaurants (Desert Bistro), but most are pretty casual (Spitfire smokehouse). The food was fine, and the service was really good. The lodging was fine (Big Horn Lodge). Late October was a good time to visit, given that it is less crowded and easier to get around. Moab is a must see place to visit if you are in UTAH! Zion NAtional Park is out of this world... so amazing ..... then there's the Arch.... just equally mesmerizing.... Dead horse point is quite under rated in all of the parks we visited...BUT...so worth to see!Guest review byDaisyCanada
