It was quiet and clean. All the appliances were working. Linen and towels were clean. We needed a place to take a hot shower and get a good night sleep after a 5-day backpacking trip in Death Valley and this was the ticket.
The bonus was that is what very close to a Thai restaurant, which exceeded our expectations.

Driving over the mountains from Fresno to Mojave it is a fascinating landscape as the land turns more arid and the 100's of wind turbines dominate the hills on entering the town. Lots to see and lots of sun.

After reading some other reviews I decided to add some things to mine. Regarding the train noise - Mojave is a small town, every motel/hotel is along the same street which happens to be across from the train tracks. Trains carry a multitude of products and keep many trucks off our highways. We went sightseeing at Red Rock Canyon State Park, it was amazing. Rockhounding was also a hit. Our room was clean and supplied with soap, shampoo, and coffee supplies. We had plenty hot water and pressure.

The couple that manage the motel are very professional and efficient. They remembered us from previous stays as if we were part of their family. Expect a small comfortable room with microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. Do not assume this is a fancy place. Just steps from your car, move in, fix a microwaveable entree, and relax. Lots of cable channels. Wake up, get your own breakfast from your own supplies, leave before 11. Easy if you are prepared. Good bed, shower. Small shampoo packet and soap, so bring your own amenities for more comfort.

W were in transit, so stayed 1 night. The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. We had 2 queen beds and they were so comfortable. The view from our room was just beautiful. It was great to have a fridge and microwave as a lot of hotels don't provide this as standard. We would stay here again.
This place is certainly not a place that you would want to take your wife to for a honeymoon, but that's perfectly. It's not meant to be a romantic hotel.
It serves its job as a motel for a night or two.
I liked that it has a fridge, microwave and coffee facilities.
Free ice machine by reception.
As a family, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel, very nicely decorated. Upon late saturday call, someone came within a few minutes to sort out an electricity problem, many thanks for that. Would go back with pleasure. Mojave is nicely situated between Giant Forest and the Death Valley
Needed a place to stay between mono lake and LA, Mojave looked convenient. Got there late office was open and checked out the next day to continue driving. Pleasant location with restaurants nearby. I walked to Denny’s in 3 minutes.
