The hotel was modern and very clean. Had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Two comfy king beds and a shower with nice Dry Bar toiletries. Central location to a lot of South Bay neighborhoods.

It was clean and a good value for our money. It is close to El Camino hospital that is why we chose it.

It is actually too spread out and I definitely could have used a map given out by the Avante Hotel. I ate in a Chicken Fast Food take-out 2 nights, at a Sushi place, and a Cafe. I enjoyed the Computer History Museum. My meetings were in Palo Alto, but it was easy to get there.

We only came for Shoreline Amphitheatre, so I can't speak to the rest of the area, but the concert venue was spectacular. We walked from a nearby hotel to the venue, and felt that traffic control was being handled appropriately, and the sidewalks were safe and clean (it was a pleasant experience to walk to the venue with a gaggle of children).

We are from Connecticut and often visit our son who lives in Saratoga. We have stayed in several hotels in various locations in the Bay Area and found Mountain View to be most centrally located to everything we want to do during our visit.
The city looks fun and vibrant. There are tons of restaurants with every food type we like to eat (we love good food.) We highly recommend Mountain View for travelers visiting the Bay Area.

It is mostly a place for people to stay if their child is at Stamford or they have business in the tech field around there, or saw a show at the Shoreline and didn't want to drive home. No one goes there for fun, it is mainly a bedroom community and very pretty.

Mountain View is a secret gem of the Bay Area.
Mountain View is a secret gem of the Bay Area. There’s lots of cool spots to eat and drink. It feels unpretentious and down to earth, has culturally diverse food offerings, bars, bookstores and is walkable.

The stay was awesome.
The stay was awesome. The only problem we had was the TV, for those who are not techies it is a little complicated. Found a great Italian Restaurant just down the street. Cucina Venti. We were able to walk to the Shoreline Ampitheatre to see a concert.

A boutique hotel that fits the bill for an overnight stay. Rooms were practical and clean if a little aged but with everything you needed. It was very easy to check in and out. With the current price inflation on accommodation in the US this hotel was a little more reasonably priced, probably because it isn't in a very touristy spot.
It's a new place or well renovated, so all facilities look nice and room design was good. Location is also great, next to the highway exit in Mountain View and not far from a restaurant district. All in all - hotel delivers everything it promised, with a good quality.
