The Floridian Express International Drive hotel is less than 1.2 mi from Universal Orlando Resort. Cable TV is available in all rooms at The Floridian Express International Drive.

It was in a convenient location, with ample parking. We weren't charged a deposit (we couldn't mess anything up worse than it was anyway). It's next to DQ. Staff helpful when present. It was quiet, so my request for a quiet room was fulfilled.

Located off the Beachline Expressway, this hotel features free Wi-Fi and a daily continental breakfast.

One elevator not working. Fire alarm hanging from bedroom wall. Tub faucet not working properly (no hot water but there was in the sink). Paint and plaster bulging from wall. Mold in tub area. Oily finger prints on inside of bathroom door. Missing lights. By the time we had discovered all these things it was too late to ask for another room. Why isn’t cleaning staff reporting these things after they make their rounds? Paid more for this room with a view of a parking lot than we did for a 31st floor room with a perfect view of Niagara Falls the previous night

    This was a REAL Florida trip & Orlando is positioned in the center of everything! We went to Crystal River for a clear kayak manatee excursion & on another day, drove to Cocoa Beach for Ocean & sand. Our final night was celebrated with the Pirates Dinner Adventure just 15 miles from our Windsor Hills Resort.

    We went for a Volleyball tournament that was at the Orange County Convention Center. Convention Center was nice, food vendors within and clean bathrooms. We visited Pointe Orlando twice and had 2 delicious meals. We also visited Disney Springs which was fun to walk around the shops and ate there. Discovery Cove and our dolphin encounter was awesome! The wind-away river was great as was the all inclusive food. Lastly, we went to Universal Studios and had a great time. Uber rides were easy to get for all our transportation needs. Airport was easy and clean with lots of food options.

    Altamonte Springs is Northeast of the top tourist...

    Altamonte Springs is Northeast of the top tourist destinations, so less traffic. The local area has a great mall and many fine restaurants. Hotels location has easy entry to I-4. both the local and express lanes for business travels to Downtown Orlando or Airports.

    Like I said previously everything was perfect the towers everything was so clean that jacuzzi was amazing The beds were Comfort boy they didn't want to get up Period All around Over exterior my expectations . I used to pay cash with my card at the Marriott every 6 months we go we going to Spring Break and in the summer so I won't be going back to the Marriott I'll be coming back to any of the Westgate and as a potential buyer I am so excited I'm paying for the vacation slowly and I'm really excited. Nobody forced me to sign anything nobody forced me to give me anything in exchange in order to become a buyer. I extremely loved all of it and specially I was able to wash my clothes without going home tired after driving back to Miami for hours I was able to wash my clothes and the hotel so it was just really a big relief

    We have been visiting Orlando for over twenty five years...

    We have been visiting Orlando for over twenty five years with four children and now as a couple. It seems to us to get worse every time. We visited last November and again last week. Food prices in the bars and restaurants had greatly increased in that short time. It's now really expensive. Restaurants all now push for 18, 22 or 28% tip!! As a Brit, I really don't agree! I've been vegetairian for most of my life. The big appeal for me has always been the mix of people and cultures in Orlando. Six years ago, I could walk into any restaurant on I drive and be given a vegetairian menu consisting of 6 to 10 proper meal choices. Now the attitude is that "you won't leave hungry". Even restaurants that offer "vege" dishes now state they are cooked in fat previously used for meat or fish! Unacceptable to any vegetairian!! We went to Uncle Julio last week - it has lots of vege choices on it's menu. I asked the server for a recommendation - told "salad", declined and then offered a plate of nachos, declined again. Offerered a quasidilla but only with cheese and onions in it!! We left and went to another chain - the Yard House. This time the vege food was cooked in meat or fish fat so we left again. There are some hidden jems - The Broadway pizza in Kissemmee. We've been visiting for many years and it's always the same - just some reasonable increases to the price. Really friendly staff always willing to offer a wine recommendation! We had tickets for Universal this time. Unfortunately we clashed with Spring break - should have known better! Queues were up to two hours for the rides. Too many people are buying express passes! Everyone else has to queue so much longer. This is too much standing for us. After having many great holidays in Orlando we are really considering not returning. With Joann closing and TJ maxx closed and I can't enjoy a cooked meal out, why come to Orlando?

    So convenient for cruisers. We landed at 4:30.

    So convenient for cruisers. We landed at 4:30. You can walk to this hotel since it’s right in the terminal. Kids could swim and relax. Dinner was great and there is a kids menu. The next day we took a Goport bus to the ship.

    The hotel is extremely well located. Close to Universal and easy access from/to I-4. Everything in International Drive is at walking distance. The hotel facilities, although not new, are really clean and well maintained. The room size is generous and the beds are comfortable. You'll still get a good old hotel experience with daily housekeeping, bath essentials and towel change. The dining lounges (there's a breakfast and dinner buffet) and essentials store come handy in case you feel like not going out or weather forbids.
