This Spark by Hilton Ormond Beach Oceanfront hotel features a private beach, outdoor pool and on-site restaurant.

It’s was great hotel for great price . No vending machines , and everything in the little store they have is expensive. I never got back my $25 deposit though and I don’t really know why

Located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and just 15 minutes from the Daytona International Speedway, this hotel features an oceanfront pool and direct beach access.

Our family had an awesome stay at Home2 Suites in Ormond Beach, Florida! From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel like VIPs—minus the paparazzi, thankfully. The room was super clean, spacious, and even had enough room for the kids not to fight over who gets which bed (miracle). The free breakfast was a hit—especially with our son, who acted like the waffle maker was the highlight of the entire vacation. The pool was perfect for burning off all that syrup-fueled energy, and the location made it easy to explore the beach and grab dinner without anyone whining too much in the car. Would absolutely stay here again—Home2 Suites made traveling with kids feel almost… relaxing. Almost.

Located in Ormond Beach, 1.1 mi from The Casements, Chateau Mar Beach Resort features oceanfront views of the sea. One parking spot per room is available on site.

Apparently they were remodeling and they didn't let us know. We had a bed, one lamp, a tv, no dresser and a hole in the bathroom door, and the mirror had ugly seashells around it. The blinds were taped together! And worst of all no WiFi! Too late too get a room elsewhere, we tried, and stuck it out. The outside of the building looked great! This room should not have been allowed to be booked! Very disappointed! Not worth the $$$!

The room we stayed in was the king suite.

The room we stayed in was the king suite. The room had peeling paint on the ceiling over the bed, the sheets were ripped and there was no furniture in the room other than two beds and two night tables. Small kitchenette had an induction cooktop that was not plugged in and had no cookware. There was no coffee maker, and no chairs or table to eat at. The smoke detector was hanging open and not functioning. The door was hard to open and close. There was no after hour contact information in the room. I found a number on the door of the lobby, but no one answered. The Wifi was down. There were signs stating they were renovating but the manager told me they just hadn't updated the pictures. No evidence of renovations. Oh and there was a hole near the door, close to the floor, from an old A/C unit that was covered with loose cardboard and tape. Easy access for entry.

We had spend many winters as snowbirds in Daytona Beach and were very much familiar with Ormond Beach and when we wanted to return for a short visit we looked specifically for places in Ormond because we liked that community and the beach very much.

Ormond Beach is a nice town, and the beach area has several good hotels. I would like to see more restaurants on the beach, and a beachside bar would be nice. I like to visit the Humane Society thrift store each time I'm in town, and Dunn's Attic is a good store to browse. Andy Romano park allows beach access to all, and kids like the splash pad. Shout-out to the Starbucks people who were friendly and helpful. Be prepared to deal with traffic on Granada. I'm not a fan of vehicles on the beach, either. I think beaches should be for people and birds and not motorized metal. I like a quiet vacation for reading, walking, and watching the waves.

A trip to the beach is never long enough!

A trip to the beach is never long enough! But we love Ormond! It’s not really a safe beach to swim in a lot…. Water is often times rough . But it’s a beautiful beach to watch the water and to walk on. And we love the town of Ormond. We feel safe walking as a family and at all hours to the shops and restaurants. Lots of nice friendly restaurants and the people here have always been very nice . But now, after rebuilding from a hurricane almost 2 years ago , you can tell they are super happy and appreciative to see vacationers coming back ! It’s nice to feel appreciated, instead of annoyed , by the locals . Can’t wait to come back ! Lulus is a fun place to eat! And for the best seafood in the world make sure you don’t miss Hulls Seafood!
