Well placed in Southern Iowa for our travels , easy to locate and central enough . The rooms were spotless everywhere was kept to a high standard , the room had various comfort amenities , micro fridge etc , comfortable beds and good bathroom , deceptively larger property , there is a pool and hot tub of no interest to me but they are there .ice machines and above all very friendly and welcoming reception I would like to thank the gentleman on reception I believe his name was CY forgive the incorrect spelling ? but he was a star I need to use the computer and printer which was being difficult and he kept at it until it worked , many thanks .

    The town is run down and poverty stricken.

    The town is run down and poverty stricken. Meth heads and Junkies walk the streets asking for cash or a light and police sirens blast all night. The hotel was terrible and smelled like the walls were full of black mold and musty. The only positive about the hotel was there were no bugs. Paid $140+ for a double queen at the AmericInn and you would have thought it was a $45 a night super 8. Never again…

    The in house restaurant was nit as advertised in the phone...

    The in house restaurant was nit as advertised in the phone price were twice advertised. They said it was a faux ad we have our doubts. The place was empty should have been a tip off. Eat anywhere else.

    I liked the location and worker’s

    I liked the location and worker’s I didn’t like my room not cleaned out unless I asked and then only fresh towels and trash was taken care of. I didn’t like that there was NO POOL it’s there but no one to take care of it. I didn’t like that I paid for a pool and it wasn’t working all summer. I stayed there three time’s and nothing. I didn’t like the lack of breakfast choices and the freshness of it

    All the staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel had a good selection for breakfast items and the hot food changed each day so it wasn’t always the same items which was really nice. Also The restaurant in hotel had great food and service, but it is a little pricey but worth the splurge.I will most definitely stay here again!!

    After all the negativity from people had chose 2 other hotels last time in town this time I decided to try it out and was really impressed, was clean and the pool and hot tub are in the same area also has a guest washer and dryer
