Location to downtown was good. Hotel was very nice with great amenities. Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. Only had drinks in the bistro, no food so cannot comment on that.

The bed was hard as a rock. I ended up sleeping on the couch. The TV wouldn't work, couldn't get any channels. The cherry on the top was when.i went to make breakfast. I had the coffee pot and microwave going at the same time, big mistake the power went out. I couldn't even take a shower before I left.

We reserved the hotel due to not having power at home (from ice storm). Nothing was said at time of reservation but on arrival— no power, hot water, or amenities other than running cold water and a bed. While this was okay, we were charged full rate for two nights when we had no hot water, no heat, no breakfast or hot coffee.
The staff was excellent and tried to make us comfortable but paying full price is not reasonable, and I’m very unhappy about that.

Breakfast was awesome. I had an early meeting and she opened up the pool area for me about 45 minutes early. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful view of the lake outside half of the room w. Friendly staff in the evening as well. Ends up extending my stay an extra day because of my long drive.

There is something for everyone in Petoskey, but especially if you enjoy the outdoors and activities such as golf. We also enjoy our stay in the area, enjoy visiting the local shops and trying a new restaurant each time we stay.

For people from Chicago, it’s a long way to drive. Too far.
For people from Chicago, it’s a long way to drive. Too far. The views are beautiful and the parks very nice. We ate in Harbor Springs all dinners and found good restaurants, including the Stafford restaurant. The stores in downtown Petoskey are lacking. I wouldn’t waste my time shopping.

Petoskey is a great coastal town with a wide variety of shopping, views of the lake, beaches, and trails. We found that there was a lack of good restaurants, Particularly for dinner, unless you want to eat at a bar every night.

Petoskey is incredibly picturesque.
Petoskey is incredibly picturesque. It's also very busy with a great deal of traffic, but it flows well. We were one mile from downtown, which is full of historic buildings. We had an early dinner at the City Park Grill, which was amazing. Petoskey is also a very clean city and although a famous tourist destination, we didn't feel it was overly crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Super darling place to visit, didn't want to leave. I could live there year round, thanks to the beauty and the beaches. Shopping is great with so many places to visit. Locals were very friendly.

Although the weather went from rainy and dull to blizzard in two days, it’s clear that
Petoskey can be a wonderful destination. Shopping, wineries and dining choices are close by and abundant. The Petoskey Farms Winery, City Park Grill and the Mitchell Street Pub were our favorites.

The room was clean and nice. Jacuzzi large enough for two was nice. Bed was comfortable. The room was quiet-no footsteps from above or loud voices from the hallway or "neighbors". Breakfast offerings were eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, cereals, muffins, fruit, etc. It was good.
The hotel is close to everything. Shopping, wine tasting, casino, tunnel of trees, beautiful area to visit.
Liked everything. Classic old hotel located in Bay View neighborhood. Old timey lounge area and great porch overlooking park. Nice homemade like breakfast. 1911 Restaurant has a suspect 4.9 Google review rating, but does not disappoint. Location is tucked into neighborhood, with walking distance to lakefront and hike/bike greenway. Room was understandably small but comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent. It had different items the customers would like to eat., It was very clean and all the staff were friendly and all the visitors that were at the hotel were very friendly and spoke to us. We will be back to stay.
