Lovely place, excellent location on the South side of Mount Desert Island with easy access to less crowded hikes. Well-stocked kitchen with toaster, microwave, coffee machine, stove and blender. Spacious bedrooms and very clean!

We had a huge room with a couch, 2 chairs, and a gas fireplace. The view was fantastic. The breakfast was great. You have to hike up to the restaurant but it also has a wonderful view. This was 2nd time staying here and I would stay again if in the area. We also enjoyed a drink in the Living area where we were entertained by a very good pianist.

Rooms were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Great view of ocean from the balcony. Balcony was private. Bistro was amazing. Breakfast had plenty of variety. About a 5 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor. Looking forward to staying again.
