Great place! The owners are very nice, and we felt very welcome. Room was very clean. Comfy beds. There's a fully equipped kitchen, we were able to bring and cook our own dinner, and they even provided a free breakfast for us, with a big variety of options to choose from. Beautiful natural surroundings, lake, forest and hiking trails.

    The view is breathtaking!!

    The view is breathtaking!! We watched the most beautiful sunset. the restaurant was closed at 8:00, but locked doors at 7:45 when we got there , the other 2 restaurants listed were not open at all. The only place we found to eat was River House Bar & Grille. the waitress ignored us completely when we got there. We waited about 15 minutes while she visited some guys at the bar. She then took refills to a couple girls and visited with them for while. Then she dropped glasses of water so quickly we couldn't even ask for menus. When we finally did get served, the food was great. However, she never came back to fill our glasses or to check if everything was okay When she brought the bill she was cheerful and talked for a minute, but that did not make up for the terrible service. I normally give at least a $5.00 tip, but she got $3.00 which was $.30 short of the minimum 20%tip. If not for the last minute cheerfulness, she would have got nothing!

    Location is excellent I stayed in a room there for a fishing trip you really couldn't ask for more there is a fish cleaning station there on property there is a smoke house there to get your fish smoked on property also besides the mill house restaurant which has amazing sandwiches.

    It doesn't try to pretend what it isn't. Good basic room to stay in, in Pulaski NY. It's all good. Enjoy motel for what it is.
