Staff were helpful and the room amd common areas were clean. Parking was very convenient and access to common areas was good.
Just needed a bit more water pressure.

The breakfast had everything you wanted but it was cold. They did not use the lids for the steam table so the food got cold fast

The Shire was absolutely beautiful. We loved the room and convenient to Woodstock. Although Woodstock itself was not as entertaining as we would have liked. Restaurants were closed or closed too early to enjoy a dinner.

A cute little town/area, with lots of covered bridges, and a Gorge with nice views, with multiple options for walking/sightseeing. You will most likely need a car, unless you are with a tour, or staying super locally. We ate at "Worthy Kitchen", between Quechee & Woodstock, which was a low-key restaurant with fun vibes & food options (also one of the few places open late!). Local to Woodstock too, which is another cute town worth exploring for a few hours.

This is a beautiful historical inn with its history beginning in 1793.
The inn is a combination of a Vermont country inn with modern
conveniences. It's very quiet and comfortable for sleeping.
The breakfast buffet has a nice selection to choose from.
I would definitely stay here again.

There is plenty to do within 30 minutes of Quechee.
There is plenty to do within 30 minutes of Quechee. We went to Wassail Weekend in Woodstock. We visited Billings Farm Museum, a must see.
We had two great dinners at The Public House, a nice breakfast at The Skinny Pancake, and pizza from Quechee Pizza Chef which were very close to the property. We ventured off to the Long Trail Brewery and Pub and had a great time. We also ventured off to the Four Aces Diner in Lebanon NH for a great breakfast.
Getting around Quechee is quite easy.

The staff at The Align Inn was very accommodating & friendly. The breakfast selection was much wider than that usually found at most self-serve buffets. After each long day of hiking, my husband & I enjoyed relaxing in one of their many outdoor gazebos. We also appreciated that 2 restaurants were located on either side of the Inn, making it very convenient to walk to dinner. Having a fridge & microwave in the room meant we could keep water & beer cold for after our hikes, plus have munchies available without having to venture out again.

Quechee is a beautiful place for outdoor recreational activities. There are a variety of restaurants, cafes and snack shops in the area. Woodstock is a delightful village nearby with a wide variety of shops. What a great area to get away from it all. Everyone was very friendly!

Easy to find, walking path accessible to reach restaurants, shops and the Quechee Gorge State Park. Comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom, and delicious breakfast (we really enjoyed the waffle maker, but there was also bagels, English muffins, cream cheese, nutella, breakfast sandwiches, cereals, etc.). The staff was really nice too. Would definitely go back.
The hotel is situated in the middle of the nature and hiking was a good past time. Room was clean, while the breakfast, hot and cold was plentiful. The restaurant and the bar were inviting.
Location was great. Restaurant next door was fantastic and convenient. The breakfast at hotel was good with great coffee. The beds were very comfortable and coffee in room was great too
Very comfortable lounge area, with entertainment on Wednesday evening and meal offer in restaurant. Breakfast excellent. Location very good for visiting Woodstock and Quechee Gorge.
