The breakfast was not acceptable.Processed. Frozen food. Bagels and bread not fresh. Bacon needed to be cooked a bit more. Eggs were ok. I did go next door to the other hotel for a great fresh breakfast 3 days. It was fresh hot and edible!! I paid $2400.00 not including taxes to stay at Residence Inn. Never again!! I was totally ripped off. The cleaning staff were great. Our room was clean. Neat with fresh towels and bed was always made correctly.

The hotel restaurant is very good, with abundant and varied food and very friendly staff.

When we first booked our stay, we were a bit skeptical. However, our early arrival led to a pleasant surprise with a cute lobby, with friendly staff, hot coffee, and snacks.
Parking was conveniently appointed, and although there’s no elevator to the second floor, we were grateful we hadn’t packed for a week (request the first floor if necessary).
The hallways featured an interesting pattern, and the blue saffire rooms offered a cozy atmosphere. The bathrooms, while a bit dated in powder blue blue or beige, were very clean and well-maintained.
Each room came equipped with a small fridge/freezer combo, and the cable provided uninterrupted access to the football game. The desk was also useful for any last minute work-related issues.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the rooms were notably quiet.
Additionally, the location is excellent, with easy access to town and the Riverwalk. You can stroll to the main street or the aquarium and easily take an Uber back to the hotel after dinner.
Overall, it was a great value for the money.
This central Riverhead motel is just 2 miles from Atlantis Marine World. It offers a garden with a picnic area and views of Peconic Lake. Guest rooms feature a kitchenette and free Wi-Fi.

Convenient location for wedding venue in South Hampton.
Convenient location for wedding venue in South Hampton. Dated but absolutely clean and maintained meticulously.
Accommodated over 35 family members. Has a large veranda outside 1st floor rooms for family to gather.
Staff members were perfect hosts.
Only drawback was that it had no elevator in our building because it only had two floors.
And mirrors were high on walls. No full length mirror.

I love the place but I think the pool should have had adult swim hours, even one would be great. There wasn't much opportunity for adults to swim that school holiday weekend so I think at least one hour should have been for adults. Thanks, Denise Mc Carthy

Riverhead is conveniently located near the North Fork of Long Island. We absolutely loved the the Long Island Aquarium. If you like nature, we can highly recommend Wildwood Beach on the Long Island Sound, the Cranberry Bog and the Lavender Farm just outside of town. Getting around Riverhead is easy and major stores and restaurants were within a short distance from the Swiss Motel.

River Head is in close proximity to the both the North and South Forks and other areas on the western part of the island. It's a very area with many tourist attractions. The people are nice and it's not too much traffic.

This hotel is really in Calverton, next town from Riverhead.
This hotel is really in Calverton, next town from Riverhead. The back yard is beautiful, but the room interior and outside buildings are over 40 years old and need updating. Some updating was done, but the carpets are old and outside upstairs flooring and stairs are very old. The stairs are wooden, so if you can't climb, be sure to book on the ground level.
The staff are wonderful, kind, and hospitable people! The maid helped to bring my luggage to my room upstairs.

What a great town!
What a great town! Excellent food options, walkable Main Street, clean and welcoming. Indian Island Park is a standout. Incredibly beautiful, well-maintained and respected natural resource. I will return.

No much to like, just a bottom of the line hotel for 200$ more a night than it would cost elsewhere .some creepy druggy type people, and the smell of refer in the air
