Located along the Mississippi River, this historic St. Paul hotel is located just 1 mile away from Xcel Energy Center and offers free WiFi. Every room at Hyatt Place St.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Love the big rooms. We have two teens so having the couch, a large bathroom and double room was great. We can walk around without bumping into each other. The only thing that was a sticker shock was the $32 per day parking price. So make sure you figure that into your per night price.

Downtown has beautiful buildings and the river and the bridges are pretty too. When events are going on there are lots of restaurants and lots of people around. If there isn’t an event that seems pretty quiet. We watched a wild game and we went to Cossettas. Both were great

While I was there working, and St Paul has a great research facility within walking distance of the hotel, I also have a daughter and two grand daughters there. They are my favorite thing in St Paul.

We arrived in the evening and only spent the night. We were headed south to Winona and stayed in that area a couple of days. We came back to the Minneapolis area for a wedding. I throught Saint Paul would be a fun place to spend some time in but I can't give a review on any of the local establishments or any of its attractions. It was fun seeing the Fitzgerald Theatre where Garrison Keeler recorded his radio broadcasts with a live audience.

Easy to get around the city.

Easy to get around the city. Streets are well signed and traffic did not seem to be too congested. We visited the St. Paul Grill at the St. Paul hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. The hotel is an historic building with the charm of the early 20th century hotels. Excellent ambience for a world class meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed making a walking tour around the historic downtown buildings. We also went up to Dayton's Bluff to view the city and park area. The historic homes around that area are really fun to see as well. We also spent a lot of time walking around Union Station. Such an amazing landmark. We ate breakfast at The Buttered Tin. Delicious!

The staff were people of color and the manger was black. For the area it's was actually very well kept. I love you see my people in lead position. Bathroom was nasty but everything has at least one shortcoming.

Check in was easy, room was clean, modern, and well kept. Parking is plentiful though I chose to park across the street there is a ramp in the hotel itself which costs a bit more. There are snacks in the lobby, which was great for late night. I like the area near the breakfast bar as there is lots of seating and even some outdoor options.

This is a great place for a longer stay. I love the reading area in the lobby and the complimentary coffee. The room is cozy and equipped with a round dining table. I booked for 7 nights but had to check out earlier due to an urgent issue. The hotel refunded the unstayed nights without hesitation.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in! The hotel was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful with the suggestion of where to eat. Easy walking distance to the Excel center. My sister and I are already planning when we can stay again!

A nice modern and clean hotel. The staff were really helpful and we felt well taken care of. The pool area was a big bonus. Big spacious room with more bed space than we needed. We have nothing to complain about. The restaurant in the same building was grwat too!
