This place is filthy. The pictures need updated. I thought I was in the wrong place when I pulled up. Used bar of soap in the shower, ants everywhere, mold on the window sill, some kind of sauce in the dresser drawers, etc. the breakfast isn’t edible.

This La Quinta Inn Sandusky near Cedar point, Ohio is 5 miles from the Cedar Point Amusement Park and is 6 minutes’ drive from the Sandusky city center.

The only problem I believe were the Sizes of the Beds. I don’t believe they were both kings.

    This was the BEST night of our 5 day trip from Wi to NY and then back to WI again. It was clean, cute, convenient and CHEAP! We were traveling with a small dog so the contactless entry, parking immediately in front of the room, and green space right next to the room was ideal. The room was very modern and clean but had the vintage feel and charm. Will definitely stay here again!!!

    Sandusky is an amazing hub of history, destination theme park, tourist town, beach and lake town, and quiet get away town, all in one. My stay was much too short, was pleasantly surprised by the area!

    Super clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants just steps away. Diner with real breakfast like 1/4 mile drive away. Only downer was minimal "breakfast. To be fair, it did offer hot waffles. But no eggs that I saw.

    Great location.

    Great location. Many stores and places to eat in just a couple minutes walk. Only a few minutes down the road to the Cedar Point island road. Felt comfortable walking in the area and getting around by car is very easy and not congested as I had expected it to be.

    I didn’t like anything about that place.

    I didn’t like anything about that place. That’s why I left after 10 minutes of arrival. The place look very insecure people with bad ass suspect smoking marijuana were roam in the front of the facilities. The parking lot in the back had a huge sign said no parking next to a dumpster. The following day I receive an email from the property saying disregard the sign I was in there and I wasn’t gonna disregard the sign. I didn’t feel comfortable parking my car on the street with this suspicious looking people were standing and drinking and smoking.

    Every summer we travel to Sandusky Ohio to visit Cedar Point...

    Every summer we travel to Sandusky Ohio to visit Cedar Point. Always an awesome experience and traveling in Ohio is comforting due to the improved infrastructure and clean city. We visited Golden Corral on our off day and in comparison to the other locations we vistied, this location was excellent. Good service and hot food. The Walmart as well, similar experience very tidy and clean. Overall travelling in Sandusky you feel safe and will have a great experience.

    The location was great and had a very nice view of the lake and Cedar point. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance that made for easy decisions during dinner time. The rental itself was nicely furnished, spacious, and quiet which was nice with 3 teenagers in tow.

    The room was cute. Bunk beds are definitely not made for teenagers but they worked ok. Water park was great! Loved the game room. Finding all the little doors was cute.
