The team at the Stockade Inn were amazing! They checked in on us, recommended some great spots to check out, and were overall super helpful. Our room was simple and cozy with gorgeous lighting. Very clean, comfortable, and quiet place. Though I do feel the rules and policies for having a guest over are a bit excessive. There should be a limit to at least one visitor per booked guest at no extra charge. Rules for maintaining cleanliness of the space were normal.

    Schenectady Downtown is nice, little, but lively.

    Schenectady Downtown is nice, little, but lively. There are very good restaurants, bars, and an Italian bakery. The Proctors bring a lot of business. So is the Movie Theater on the corner. It is safe to walk around those streets at night.

    Great for a quick trip to go to the casino or out for drinks with friends. We had a good meal at johnny C’s pizza and restaurant. Staff were friendly and food was great. Casino was good but we didn’t win anything boo!

    Apparently if you leave your vehicle unlocked everything in...

    Apparently if you leave your vehicle unlocked everything in it will be stolen from the hotel parking lot. There is a homeless shelter about 200 ft from the hotel. And there are no cameras for the parking area. Nor is there enough parking for hotel guests.

    Very beautiful architecture, easy to navigate around the city, Proctor theater was amazing with ornate design, beautiful venue for live shows, very historical city, excellent restaurants, very picturesque area of New York State.
