Lovely stay. Accommodations were excellent except for the bathroom. It needs more hanging hooks and a place to set your travel kit or clothes while you are showering. No one want to leave things on the floor of a bathroom nor do you want to walk out into a cold room after you have showered in order to retrieve something from a travel kit.

We were traveling with a toddler, so we wanted a separate room so he could take naps and go to bed while we could still enjoy the fireplace, balcony etc and the 1 bedroom selection was great. The spa is felt overpriced - even for the Bay Area, but the minerals pools are so good. 24h gym also great and the lobby wine taste was a nice treat! I also want to thank Jesus at front desk, so nice and helpful!

The shower in the bathroom was nice. The Indoor fireplace worked for a bit on the first day which was great but then it stopped working the rest of the stay.

The landscaping and grounds were gorgeous...Such care and attention to maximizing the beauty of the place with plants, flowers & graceful, winding cobblestone paths.
The pool was accessible 24 hours a day & it was placed separate from the rooms so there was no noise to disturb the guests.

The property was beautiful and peaceful. The Inn was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast pastries were delivered every day along with plenty of coffee pods and fresh water was available. We absolutely loved our stay. All the communications were also excellent - easy to find the Inn, easy to get in, and very safe and secure.

Enjoyed the Sonoma plaza with the shopping, restaurants, wine & spirits tasting. We enjoyed a great mango and avocado salad with chicken at the Swiss Hotel's patio. Great spirits tasting at Prohibition Spirits on a comfy couch and good information about the liquor from staff. Wine tasting at Capo Isetta on the plaza was pretty good with a very good host. Spent our last day soaking up the sun and mineral baths at the Fairmont Mission Inn and Spa, though we spent our two nights at the much more affordable and beautiful El Pueblo Inn.

Friendly staff and helpful with our questions.
Friendly staff and helpful with our questions. Loved the breakfast, which had a mexican style buffet option. Location was an easy walk to the center shopping square. Offer a late afternoon, self serve, wine and snack tasting. Nice touch.

I felt it was pretty, but it didn’t really have the choice of restaurants. I felt Napa was definitely the place to stay and they had more restaurants and more places to eat breakfast. Sonoma was a bit small.

Just an hour or so outside San Francisco, Sonoma is a picturesque city set among the vineyards in Northern California. It features a beautiful square with galleries, shops and restaurants. They often feature live music in the square. Great for a long weekend, the vineyards offer tours and tastings. There is also a wonderful cheese shop there. If you enjoy being active, don’t miss the hiking/biking trails in the area.

It is a quiet and over-looked town! MUST SEE! They have a cute downtown Sonoma Plaza, with a Visitor Bureau with free coupons (2 for 1 wine tasting), lots of cute and varied shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of museums and the Sonoma Mission right there. We visited Buena Vista, Gundlach Bundschu, and Jacuzzi wineries--ALL were beautiful! We had a great dining experience at Sonoma Grill and Bar in the back terrace.

Downtown Sonoma is a quaint town with cafes, galleries, a movie theater, and most importantly, two ice cream shops (we chose the Chocolate Cow). We also found a wonderful hike nearby called Sonoma Overlook in the downtown area. About 1.3 miles up for a beautiful view of the city.

Hotel decor is amazing and so clean and tidy! Rooms are absolutely beautiful! Attention to detail is unreal! We had a room with an outdoor shower and bath…they were just gorgeous! Food was amazing and so well presented! Staff go out of their way to deliver the best service! Would def recommend a stay at this high end hotel which is only a 5 minute stroll to Sonoma square!
Really comfortable beds, heating was working very well, room size was larger than what I expected, snacks available in the room with a price, free coffee and tea at the lobby on arrival and throughout the day. Really good restaurants just steps away from the hotel.
It is a fabulous, quaint and quiet property very close, 2 mins walk to Sonoma square. The bedsheets and water pressure was great! the staff were lovely and gave us a lovely dinner recommendation .
