Cleanest place we have ever stayed. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Area down by lake to have campfire. A patio deck with gas grill, picnic table and zero gravity chairs. Nature galore, we saw swans, geese, herons, egrets over the lake. Cottage kitchen is stocked very well, including cleaning supplies. It was perfect, quiet and peaceful.

We love Lake Huron and the view and comfort of the house. It has such a nice quiet neighborhood except for a wandering peacock. Yes, I said peacock. It is so beautiful and wanders from house to house. The H&H Bakery and Restaurant is exceptional. You are so close to subway and Dollar general if you need anything. We brought Kayaks and it is beautiful to kayak around the ducks, geese and swans. We walked the boardwalk and it was the perfect time away we were looking for.

We were only there one night and just passing through, but the hotel is right on the highway and easy to find. Standish seems to be a very nice small community, right on US 23. Would like to have explred more but did not have the time.
