The location was great, breakfast was good too, you definitely need a reservation. Booked room long in advance, but when saw the price was considerably less before we went, we were not given a price difference. But, Ok. Also, we had to pay for bag storage because we could not get into our room (friends' room.was ready but told they'd need to pay more to get access, 2 hours early). Never had that before - not even in NYC. Also, housekeeping came into our room at about 10:30 a.m. (check out noon) knocking only while unlocking and opening the door. Quite a surprise. We could have just gotten out of the shower or been in some other compromising situation. Not had that either.

Great location but view of Times Square was not good (I requested a higher floor in hopes of getting a better view)... buildings in front of hotel were not good. Did not like the additional daily amenities. No pool and construction going on. Only amenities I saw was WiFi and gym usage. Hot water was shut off one day 11am-7pm without notice? Safe and phone not working until we requested to repair.

Location was very good, close to Central Park in Mid-Town with easy access and transportation to most sites. Room was nice with very comfortable beds, clean linens, housekeeping, etc.
