The woman at the front desk absolutely wouldn't let my son bring my clothes to my room , my work schedule is difficult to explain but I tried to tell her it would be very early when I got back an I just wanted to get some sleep. But she absolutely would not let me talk an cut me off saying no you no stay here! I booked it for a week to. Back of the Dragon was great.
Back of the Dragon was great. We enjoyed Historic Crab Orchard museum. We hit Old VA Chop House on Trivia night. Did not enjoy the distraction while eating. The Italian Village had too long a wait, get there early.Guest review byAmy - Review score

We came to Tazewell to ride the Back of the Dragon and the Claw of the Dragon. We found the local residents and businesses to be very friendly and helpful. Everyone seemed genuine and heled us feel welcome to this small community. One thing we would have liked to see more of is restaurant options. But if you’re going to the area for food you best be a good cook in case you’re not a fan of chains and or fast food. Tazewell is a beautiful place to visit, I’m a native so I know all the go to spots sadly none are food related these days. When I go some place for a vacation I look for 1. Scenery 2. Food 3 Scenery with Food. Tazewell needs more good restaurants other than Italian Village that’s been going since the 80’s.Guest review byMattUnited States
