The room had been updated since I last visited and felt great. We were slightly off season so the cost for the room was reasonable. Staff were wonderful and welcoming. The pool area has also been updated since my last visit and was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our suite was amazing.. Plenty of room for our group of eight to gather for time together. We had five ladies in this suite and three others in another room. The suite was clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. Oh, and I loved the lounge bridge between buildings. What a great place to just relax and enjoy the view. I will definitely choose this hotel again.

The room was neat and clean and stocked with extra towels and other amenities. Everything was accessible.
The view from the window was not esthetically pleasing, but we were happy to be in Traverse City.
The hotel, which looked a little run down, did have somewhat updated rooms. And a parking lot that has multiple exits and really easy to navigate and be downtown quickly. Close to shops that some may use.
Breakfast was great. Potatoes, eggs, and bacon are not burned and dry and the waffle makers are always fun. Other options are available. Even fruit and applesauce was offered. Cookies were a nice treat after the pool and large hot tub. They were both warming.

Only thing we disliked about our stay was that we were the last room on the second floor, which was a long way to haul our luggage and young children.

Love the town!
Love the town! Well developed but also has super easy access to remote/nature-focused areas. Close to many towns, close to skiing, close to shopping. Great restaurants! Trattoria Stella always is delish :)

Traverse City is a real treat.
Traverse City is a real treat. Downtown is beautiful with scads of great eateries and many one-of-a-kind shops. It's a safe and beautiful town, really done up nicely for the holidays. Spring, summer and fall are still my favorite times to visit. But we had a fabulous winter adventure in Traverse City. Check out Lu's downtown for out-of-this world tacos. Never knew tacos could be so varied and delicious. Boone's Steak House is another favorite place. The tender New York Strip is the size of a brick. It feeds me for 3 days.

The town was easy to navigate, but still had a wide variety of offerings. All of the food we had was fantastic, especially the Grand Traverse Pie Company! Whenever we mentioned we were visiting from out-of-state the locals went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and answer our questions.

Employees was amazing.
We went up for a wrestling tournament. They allowed us to use the breakfast room to play cards and eat dinner. The hotel was very nice our group was rowdy drinking and having a good time and they never said a thing other than have fun.
Very clean and the staff very friendly. For the price and location I personally think this hotel is good or even better than most expensive hotels...we really enjoyed our stay here! Will most definitely come back!
Didn’t come to this hotel for the beach being it was early April, Should have done better research on “Breakfast” Continental in a box not real appealing.
