Great location near Joshua Tree National Park. All in all a great stop for a one nighter on a road trip like we did. Nothong luxurious, but has everything you need. Breakfast was standard but quite good, shower took a very long time to warm up

First of all, this review is about the trailer, not about the cabins on site. Staying in the trailer was truly an experience we won't forget. But in the wrong way. :D
Beautiful site, if you're looking for something different. Good distance from Joshua Tree National Park.

Great launching pad for trips into Joshua Tree.
Great launching pad for trips into Joshua Tree. Quieter than the town of Joshua Tree at the other end of the park. Some great places to stay and some good restaurants. Kitchen In The Desert being my favorite restaurant in the area.

I was here only to hike in Joshua Tree National Park. 29 Palms park entrance is not crowded, and gets you into the park at any time of day with minimal delay. I didn't eat out or really visit the town, except for the excellent Park Visitors Center.

Motel was very conveniently located for our trip to JOSHUA TREE PARK.
Our room was perfect for 3 travelers to share(2 beds). Appreciate the vibrant eclectic & bohemian atmosphere of the property. Simplicity in the desert!
Ate amazing brunch @ JT COUNTRY KITCHEN. Fresh homemade biscuits,
yummy burgers, great hash browns.
All places that will be repeated on our next adventure in area.

This is a military town, but has a lot of beautiful murals and the city has recently spent a lot of money creating a gorgeous visitor's center. There is a lot of art and natural desert beauty out here.

It is difficult to find healthy-eating restaurants in the area and both 29 Palms and Joshua Tree weren't very inspiring places to visit with everything being on the main highway. Yucca Valley a bit further down the road looked like it might be a better place to find good hotels and restaurants.
Given that, the purpose of our visit was just to have a bed for the night before spending the next day driving through the JT NP - we weren't staying for more than one night.
Highly recommend the Rib Co for a good evening meal that included salad and vegetables.

Our car broke down outside 29 Palms so we were stranded for a week without a vehicle....29 Palms was an oasis in the desert. We found a lovely motel (El Rancho Delores) where we could walk into town for some GREAT local meals...GRND SQRL, Thai and Campbell Hill bakery that only opens Th-Sat 6-8 PM but is well worth waiting in line!
Of course its one of the entrances to Joshua Tree NP so you can enjoy the wild beauty of that for days
The only thing we could not find was groceries (we had no car and nearest grocery was 4-5 miles)

Great location for Joshua Tree. Nice to have a spa pool. Room size was ok but it wasn't the cleanest , especially the floor. Staff were cheerful on check in and helpful when we complained the first room smelt pretty bad, and moved us.
The cottage is super nice and cozy, well equipped and there is plenty of space for a conformable stay. Very big kitchen fully equipped. Location is perfect to visit Joshua Tree National park.
This hotel is a very pleasant, well kept accommodation - quite a contrast to the general appeal of Twentynine Palms. We had a good sized room for a family of four.
