The property was whimsical and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay; it really felt like a home away from home. The host is so caring and made a delicious breakfast for us every morning.

Located in Windham, 7.3 miles from Catskill State Park, The Haüs Windham has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking.

My stay at the Haus Windham was amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how impeccably clean everything was. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in every corner, making it feel fresh and welcoming. The location was great, right next to the ski mountain and town. Everything we wanted to see and do was just a short walk or drive away. One of the highlights of my stay was the bedding – it was exceptional! The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were soft, crisp, and luxurious. I even called them to ask what linens they use after our stay ("parachute" if anyone is wondering). Overall, Haus Windham exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Mountain Treasure Bed and Breakfast enjoys a location in Maplecrest, 4.7 miles from Catskill State Park and 29 miles from Hudson Athens Lighthouse.

Agnes is the perfect host and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great weekend in the Catskills! The B&B is clean and comfortable, with our en suite room having everything we needed for our 2-night ski weekend. Breakfast is home-cooked and delicious, with a choice of options to suit different tastes. The location is stunning - even in the 'ugly' winter months, we appreciated the scenery and tranquility. But what makes this such a unique and worthwhile place to visit is the warm welcome and charm of Agnes. Not only did we enjoy our chats in the morning, but Agnes helped us out of a potential disaster when our car didn't start two days running. She came to the rescue and took us up the mountain without complaint. What a legend. I would recommend this for anyone skiing at Windham or Hunter mountains (both very nearby), or anyone wishing to enjoy the peacefulness of the Catskills!

I was only there for a day but the area was very beautiful. The view of the mountains was really nice. The Windham Path was a peaceful, country trek. I had dinner at the Prominence restaurant. The staff (all of them) were so attentive, helpful and friendly. It was a pleasant dining experience.

Wind is a nice place to stay.

Wind is a nice place to stay. It is a classy type of a town: somewhat well to do versus other Catskill towns where houses are incomplete and old cars sit in the yard. Things are more expensive in Windham. The towns people plant beautiful flowers all over and it provides great photo opportunities. You will feel very safe in this area as well as most areas in the Catskills.

For the cost of the room, breakfast should have been included. The restaurant was very expensive and wasn't open the first 2 days we were there. We had good breakfasts at the Windham Diner but dinner was not so hot. Had a decent meal at the Tap House. Skip the Tipp Tavern. Bad food and dirty. Hickory Hill Market gets a thumbs up. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, which was very nice. Minnewaska State Park is fabulous if you like to hike but it was 1.5 hours away. Overall, the resort is nice.

We attended a celebration of life at CD Lane Park.

We attended a celebration of life at CD Lane Park. There was a small lake with a pavilion. Its a little off the beaten trail, but visit the park if you are there. The scenery of the entire area is breath taking. We stayed and ate at Jimmy OConnor's Mountain Inn. I recommend the inn and restaurant if you are passing through or staying in Windham.

I can’t give Windham a fair review, because our stay was very short and it was rainy and cold most of the time. We did enjoy our stay at the Hotel Vienna, and noticed there’s a variety of interesting restaurants in the downtown area.

Pleasant enough location for visiting the local area.

Pleasant enough location for visiting the local area. Best suited for those who are hiking or undertaking other outdoor activities. Town of Windham has a reasonable choice of restaurants. We visited in late spring and it was fairly quiet. I'm guessing it is a more lively location in the skiing season.

I stayed at Bread and Breakfast for a one-night getaway and had a truly relaxing experience. The property is ideally located, just a short distance from the center of Windham. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view, with excellent internet service. It was the perfect retreat to enjoy the serenity of upstate New York. I'm so glad I chose this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

A good old fashioned motel in a quiet rural roadside setting. Convenient for Windham, Hunter and surrounding area including Kaaterskill Falls and Catskill Mountains. Breakfast was an added bonus.
