Not worth the price. More ‘rustic eco cottage’ than ‘lodge’. I’d suggest $25 usd per night maximum. We paid $60 usd. Cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom at night. Pool was GREEN from algae and not suitable to swim in. Very out of the way. 1hr off the main road to HaGiang, up winding and at times dangerously tight roads. Beautiful scenery and location. Bungalows perched over a dam full of frogs so if you’re not used to nature sounds, you may not sleep well. Was probably good when new but has not stood up well to ageing. Do not ride here unless you are an experienced rider. Take a driver/car. When you arrive, there is nothing else in the area so you can only get food at the restaurant. Food was very nice. No fridge, no aircon. Staff very nice.

- It is not a hotel it's a hostel - as soon as you tell them that you're not going to rent a bike from them or you're not going with your group everything changes, their bikes are more expensive than any other renters - the place is out of the city and there's only one restaurant in front of the hotel, so you really need a motorcycle otherwise gutvto walk for a while.. - I did use their laundry service and they ruined 2 of my t-shirts so bad they refunded me at the end but t-shirts are useless, both were kind of burned, not sure what they did - book the ticket for buses yourself since they charge 50.0000 VND extra without letting you know..

I ended up extending my stay because I enjoyed the place and owners so much. The property is very new and everythig is clean from comfy beds to bathrooms. The owners are the loveliest and so helpful. They really want their guests to have a good stay. We had dinner together and it was so nice to talk to them. The place is about 2 km from the city but I enjoyed that it wasn't busy around here

Brand new hotel. I am a bit confused why it does not have a five star rating on booking as this is absolutely five star standard. Awesome rooms, great heated indoor pool, very well stocked gym. Nice employees. You can feel that the teams are still settling in, not everything is 100% synced yet but they all make up for it with friendliness. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

    The city is a typical Vietnamese city: everything you need in a crammed space. The big draw of HaGiang is the starting point for the Ha Giang Loop, by motorcycle, bike or backpack. Absolutely outstanding natural beauty.

    The bus trip from Hanoi is a bit of a challenge but once you get here, that seems irrelevant. A peaceful place provided you find suitable accommodation, preferably in a homestay away from the main part of town.

    Words cannot describe this amazing experience.

    Words cannot describe this amazing experience. The guide and drivers were beyond friendly and extremely considerate of their riders especially on the bumpy roads and the honestly in Dong Van was stunning. The views seen at every stop was beyond breathtaking and fun to be had at night with happy water and Kareoke. Was the absolute highlight of my time in Vietnam and I would fully encourage others to add it to their must do list.

    Ha Giang is quite simply beautiful outside of the city. The surrounding areas to the city are stunning and really worth any difficulty in getting there. The people are friendly and welcoming. Go if you can!

    This is my first time coming to Ha Giang, booking a cheap room with such quality. We traveled from Sapa to Ha Giang quite late but the host still helped us check in at 10pm. Room is clean and fully equipped.
