It was a beautiful location. But we were the only guests at the property. We drove ourselves and got lost which wasn’t fun. It’s very hard to drive your omen car . It’s better to go with something organized. To get to the rooms is very steep and they take you by motor bike. We were ok with it but if you are afraid to sit in the back of a bike it can be very difficult and scary. The people were extremely helpful and nice.

The homestay is nestled among steep mountains and rice terraces. A very nice place to hike or just chill out in a hammock. The staff were friendly, the bathroom was very clean and the shower was great too.
If you are driving there yourself, you should be aware that the homestay is located a fair way down a very steep and narrow path which is quite slippery when wet. Our Honda XR150 only just about made it back up the hill with only one of us on the bike.

The location is unbelievable, the most beautiful place i have ever slept at. Amazing views. Very nice owners, made me dinner and a light breakfast. The stay is really authentic, all the animals roaming freely at the nearby field... just a wonderful place!!

Bikki has a Lot of knowlege to share and can explain in good english the medicinal and edible plants, how to process them, explain Traditions, teach about her culture. With Humor and kindness she showed us beautyful waterfalls and magic places, and she and her Family prepare amazing meals that are fresh organic from their own gardens and animals and the jungle.
We sleep good with the Sound of the River and listen to singing birds in the morning.
Great thanks for everyday we could spend Here!

Not worth the price. More ‘rustic eco cottage’ than ‘lodge’. I’d suggest $25 usd per night maximum. We paid $60 usd.
Cockroaches in bathroom and bedroom at night. Pool was GREEN from algae and not suitable to swim in.
Very out of the way. 1hr off the main road to HaGiang, up winding and at times dangerously tight roads.
Beautiful scenery and location. Bungalows perched over a dam full of frogs so if you’re not used to nature sounds, you may not sleep well.
Was probably good when new but has not stood up well to ageing.
Do not ride here unless you are an experienced rider. Take a driver/car.
When you arrive, there is nothing else in the area so you can only get food at the restaurant. Food was very nice. No fridge, no aircon. Staff very nice.

Trekking at Panhou is not just a hike but also a journey to explore and connect with nature. I feel like I’m escaping modern life and immersing myself in the magnificent beauty of the mountains
