Sadly the bar and restaurant shut on the night we stayed, no power overnight despite been told there was a generator. No breakfast at 7am as no power, no staff around and electric gate enable to open so we could leave for our early hike. Very comfortable tent and clean but disappointing stay! Trying to pack up in the dark etc not easy!

The location in the forest was perfect and the grounds of the property were beautifully maintained. However, the best thing about staying here was the superb food - both the huge included breakfasts and also the optional evening meals, which were outstanding and great value for money. I even had the chance to try ostrich neck as a special option! If you stay here, make sure you eat here in the evening at least once.
Set in a large forest garden, with abundant bird life and trees, Andelomi Forest Lodge is situated at the foot of the Storms River Peak in Tsitsikamma.

The location is in a very forested area and 1km from lagoon and beach.
The furniture is mainly antiques and old world setting which didn't worry us
Shower and toilet area had nice hot water but a bit small
Nice deck out the front
Bad water leak in the laundry area when it rained
Bed linen was not fresh and crisp and pillows old and musty
There was dust under the beds, headboard, shelves and window sills
The unit smelt musty to us as if mats and furniture needed a good clean
Kitchen had all the necessary appliances however stove and oven in bad condition
