The interior of this Victorian style house is like a delightful museum. Every room is uniquely furnished and intensely decorated down to the bathroom fixtures. The main entry puts you in a old fashion sitting palor with fireplace and a prominent bar. Walls throughout the house and guest rooms are covered with many antique photographs and artwork. The house could be viewed as a destination on it's own. It was simply a fun and memorable place to stay. The hostess shared a lot of history regarding the home. The staff were efficient and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location is within walking distance of a few restaurants.

We enjoyed the lift down the side of the gorge with the walk in the rainforest at the bottom, and watching daredevils do the gorge swing - not for us though!
We had a nice drink at the Graskop Hotel in town while waiting to get into our accommodation (we couldn't find the SMS with the PIN for the gate at first).

Graskop has all necessary amenities.
Graskop has all necessary amenities. Harrie's Pancakes in Graskop was a great place to have lunch after a long journey, their menu is expansive, service is great. We had an amazing dinner at Abe's Glass House Restaurant. Abe and Liefie are friendly, courteous and efficient. (booking required via whatsapp).
You will find curio's, as well as a silk shop that is worth a meander through.

Fresh Breeze of air and the mist in the morning biggest highlight as we hardly see in our city. Tourists attractions around Graskop not that far from each other that made it easy to travel around.
Due to heavy rains we couldn't go as much as we planned but overall everything was great.

Coming to Graskop last 45 years, no change in town.
Coming to Graskop last 45 years, no change in town. Outside roads gradually falling apart, No chance to travel 8 km to waterfalls. Much more potholes than tar. Macmac pools and Lisbon falls ARE A DISGRACE, all fenced off. Where does the money collected for "local participation" goes?

If you love nature this is definitely a trip to consider.
If you love nature this is definitely a trip to consider. You will be awed by what the elements of nature can do to the environment.
My highlight was the pothole formation at Bourke's luck potholes. The artistry by nature is breathtaking leaving you wondering how it all happened. Is looks like man made art.
This nature rich reserve can leave you thinking.
And make you realize we are at the mercy of nature.

I loved everything about this hotel
The hotel is situated in town near the attractions.
The staff were friendly Errol and Veronica assisted me a lot and they deserve a reward of employee of the year a
The breakfast was awesome
The pool and garden area beautiful
The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable
I had a great time with friends
Will definitely come back with my family
Elijah and his team were very hospitable and made our stay seamless. We arrived earlier than anticipated and, instead of making us wait, we were upgraded to a room that was available and was also larger than what we had booked - a generous gesture! The guesthouse is well located. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore graskop or the Panorama Route
Location near Graskop and the Panorama Route, perfect to stop to visit the blyde river canyon. The owner is very kind, attentive and thoughtful , he prepared a vegan alternative for breakfast for me even if I informed him late.
The chalets are so cute in a beautiful location.
Value for money. Located in Graskop close to the shops as well as many attractions. What you see on the photos is what you get. Enough towels & linen. Complementary sugar & coffee (which was greatly appreciated) Highly recommended.
