Clean, modern and funky rooms with beautiful furnishings. Hazel and Maggie were an added plus! All the staff were kind, attentive and helpful. This is a Joburg gem, and I hope it stays this way. Great that it’s close to the Rosebank Mall but also close to other areas, too.

    I haven't been there for 5 years and was shocked at the decline. The roads are in a shocking state and there aren't many streetlights or traffic lights working. The verges are overgrown and pavements broken and weeds growing through. Not much maintenance done. I enjoyed eating out and Sandton City was still great. However, it won't make me rush back in a hurry.

    Very scared to go to any place in Johannesburg I only eat in malls and Casinos because i feel safe Roads are very busy I don't know who one can trust. Poor directions to places in JHB No street names visible Johannesburg very dirty

    My stay at ANew Hotel was fantastic!

    My stay at ANew Hotel was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city.I especially loved the delicious breakfast buffet and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Johannesburg.

    Great staff. Wonderful rooms and nice garden. The outside areas for most rooms are excellent and private. The flexibility of the staff and management remains outstanding. We have stayed every other year since this wonderful hotel opened. It remains one of our favourite in the world; and holds its own with other world-class boutique hotels (e.g. Hotel Laufaurie-Peyraguey by Lalique that is ranked in the Top 15 in the world). It is exceptional value for money. The bed was easily the most comfortable that we had in 2 weeks in South Africa.

    The accommodation and breakfast on offer is genuine 4 star quality. Comfortable and very good. The location is fine if you need to be in the Randburg area or the North-West suburbs of Johannesburg. It is also not far from the Sandton CBD. Security is good. The establishment is an oasis in an area which is unfortunately deteriorating.
