Perfectly located for a stay in Magoebaskloof. Mariete was a very friendly, helpful hostess. The unit was well kitted out to self-cater and the farm setting was lovely. The hiking trails through the beautiful indigenous forest nearby allowed us to recharge our city weary souls.

An ideal spot for a weekend getaway. The tent is fairly spacious, immaculate, and well-equipped, with our unit having offered breathtaking views of the surrounding garden/forest. The wood-fired hot tub is a delightful touch, adding an extra element of fun to our stay. The Cheerio gardens, with the charming, meandering pathways through the property are absolutely stunning, teeming with lush plant life, bird species and butterflies! Some basic essentials and tasty local snacks can be found at the Cheerio café / shop.
Jordan was an excellent host, sharing the fascinating history of the property and town, and provided excellent recommend ations for local activities and restaurants.

Beautiful area.
Beautiful area.
Cheerio is a must see especially in spring it is spectacular.
Lovely restaurants in the Haenertsburg village and lots to do if you love walking, nature- flowers and forests, eating, relaxing, scenic drives
We loved Habibi restaurant; Zwakala; Wegraakbosch cheeses; The Farmstall; Krabbefontein for coffee, sandwiches and cake.
Watch out on the dirt roads when it's rained they get super slippery.

Magoebaskloof has such amazing natural beauty with forests, rivers, mountains and waterfalls!
The very small quaint tiny town of Haenertsberg is a gem, with lovely little shops and restaurants. Even a free yoga class was offered on the lawns on the Saturday morning.
This area is a MUST visit!

All was of a very high standard: rooms, accommodation, staff, scenery, breakfasts, homely and friendly.
The very best absolutely!
I have told all my friends how we loved our stay at Bramasole, and will continue to do so.
Planning my return there asap next year.
Driving around Magoebaskloof is like my birthplace driving around the mountains.
We had wonderful weather and 1 rainy day with mist and it really felt like being in the Alps!
The forests and the lushness of the landscape and floral beauty is amazing.
Lots of little gorgeous places to stop all around and look and snack or inch.
The village is so friendly and everyone talks to each other and to tourists and visitors.

When visiting Magoebaskloof, I would certainly pop in for lunch at Red Plate. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is great and they have an indoor wood fire which provides a cosy atmosphere.
I highly recommend booking a pottery class at Earth Creations with Marion. We spent a few hours with her learning how to create beautiful items from clay which you can then take home once they are ready for collection. She served us cake and coffee during the tea break which she had baked herself.
It is a beautiful area surrounded by forests and extremely friendly residents. We cannot wait to return.

If you haven't been, you're missing out.
If you haven't been, you're missing out. The village of Haenertsburg has a collection of wonderful restaurants (and even vegan food to be found), as well as hand-crafted products, deli delights and fresh, local produce.
There are several hiking trails in the area (that just shouldn't be missed if you're inclined to it).
You won't have a difficult time getting around, though you should be careful on the pass itself.
Oh, and the locals are probably the friendliest people on earth.
