Easy access, friendly welcome. Very cosy room. Small, but functional. I would definitely go back again. The provision of quality crockery and utensils was a nice touch.

Located in The Crags in the Western Cape region and Goose Valley Golf Club reachable within 8 miles, Green Hills Forest Lodge has accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free...
Natures Valley is very special. Most other bays in the area are over developed and commercialised. Natures Valley still captures the time when going to the beach was not all about how magnificent your property was. Lets hope it stays that way.

Nature´s Valley is by my opinion the most beautiful place along the Garden Route. Quiet, swimming is possible both in The Ocean and in the lagoon. Not crowded at all (like Stormsriver Mouth), with 1 shop and 1 restaurant.

I have been travelling to Natures Valley for close on 45 years, and it is still my "heart's place". It is a destination for peace and quiet and even solitariness. wild deserted beaches, walks along rocky coastlines, along tidal estuaries, and there are forest paths to follow.
The bird life is excellent, buck and bush pig can be seen and heard in the deep forest, and cheeky vervet monkeys peek out through hedges.
There is a "shop" within the village that sells most emergency-type supplies, and a restaurant adjacent. A FABULOUS farmstall is located at the top of the Grootpas road pass (8 kms) up the road, which sells artisanal cheeses, and dairy products and is a MUST to visit for its deli meals.

Very quiet and peaceful.
Very quiet and peaceful. Think it could be cold in winter as the forest is thick.
One shop and restaurant (Otters) so limited choice, rather shop beforehand.
Recommend the Otters burger, good value for money

The road to the place is lovely, natures rest indeed it follows its name. Awesome in every way, location, beaches, big houses, private space. Hospitality at its best, even the people around the area are friendly. If you happen to get lost, there's securities on call that are ready to redirect you. Security is high, no crime at all.
