The best hotel in PE according to me. Great view from the room, well kept rooms, staff is extremely accommodating and kind. They even went out of their way to make us a meal even though it was not on the menu ( my girlfriend was a bit sick ). Clean! The location is the best! Beach is literally down the street.

    Having stayed many times in this area, we were familiar with the Walmer area. The Boardwalk area in PE has deteriorated since redevelopment , with several good restaurants replaced by fast food sites. The Donkin area in PE is walkable, but not recommended to stray too far outside that. We visit friends in the area, too. Highly recommended is SANCCOB, which rescues and rehabitates penguins, and Cape Recife lighthouse. The Marine Drive to Skoenmakerskop is also recommemded. Several restaurant in the Walmer area, deserve a mention : Suki; Mozambik and Toro are all good.

    Easy to get around.

    Easy to get around. Areas where it is obvious that the municipality is not doing its job. The taxi drivers are dangerous and show no concern for the safety of other road users. Nevertheless, the city tries hard to overcome these negatives.

    Friendly people. Just need more halaal restaurants.

    Friendly people. Just need more halaal restaurants. But loved it any way. Visited quite a few places and had a great experience. Had Roco mama it was strictly halaal and staff was very friendly. Directions to get around was great. Visited the museum and the beach was awesome.

    Redhouse, a suburb of Port Elizabeth, is relaxing, on the riverfront, and full of wonderful people. I went to their private club house, and was welcomed with open arms. In fact, I was given free beer and participated in a game of pool. I spent my time at the Riverfront Homestay while there.

    The place is safe and beautiful, the Hobie beach with warm water and very clean, Broad walk mall is so beautiful just next to the ocean, Baywest mall has lot of activities like games, arcade, sport bar, bowling and many more, Ocean basket at Brookes on the bay, the view you get while eating your delicious sea food, it has a sea and harbour view

    My whole experience about the city was great.

    My whole experience about the city was great. The Malls, transport, friendly people all around. I enjoyed the area I was staying at which is Summerstrand. My whole stay in Port Elizabeth was fantastic.

    I have stayed at many guest houses and hotels before. The Kelway's staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is central and close to the beach, take aways and not far from Boardwalk mall. Breakfast was a variety every day with fresh fruit on daily basis. The rooms were clean and quiet. Whatever we needed was provided by the staff and I want to than Ruan the manager and Daniell in restaurant for their special care and assistance. I will definitely stay there again.

    The most friendly and helpful staff, made us feel very welcome. The room was nice and clean , nice facilities overall, we didn’t get to use much as we only stayed one night. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and shopping centre. If we ever return to Port Elizabeth, we’ll definitely try to book this hotel.

    The place is in summerstrand close to the boardwalk mall and few minutes away to the beachfront, which my children enjoyed. There is a restaurant within the apartments and the food was great and very affordable.
