We had an incredible stay at the Sabie Star. Staff were great and the chalets are set in a tranquil setting along a river. It's the kind of place you want to keep secret and all to yourself. Will definitely come again!

Delightful place to stay, and a perfect point to spend the night en route from Oliver Tambo airport to Kruger national park. It's in a delightful spot, and the rooms are spacious and lovely. Excellent breakfast. We found great, quirky place to have dinner in nearby Sabie, so the whole experience was excellent. Good value. The following day we drove up the Panorama route with amazing falls to Kruger.

About an hour away from most attractions. Beautiful views. Very relaxed. Clean town. Best part is the fresh air. Nature at its best. Lots to see. The wild fig tree is an amazing place to eat. Petena pancakes was a delight and something different.

Beautiful place to immerse in natural surroundings & especially the several waterfalls to feast.
Halaal Wimpy is less than 5min away. Spar/Shoprite and so many other small convenient stores close by.
Many scenic highlights along the Panaromic route to explore eg. Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, three Rondavels etc

Viewing of the waterfalls has to be carefully planned.
Viewing of the waterfalls has to be carefully planned. As a wheelchair user, you cannot gain access to most of the falls. Take enough fluids wherever you go, it's really hot and humid. Don't think you'll find dinner on a Sunday afternoon, after 1 everything closes. Buy whatever you need Saturday. Some road conditions are terrible, but can be accessed by a lower vehicle. Just drive very slowly. The bookstore in town is definitely a big winner and should be visited.

A great location endowed with natural wonders around.
A great location endowed with natural wonders around. Its proximity to Graskop makes it an ideal location. It has all the amenities you might need - restaurants, supermarkets, fuel garages etc. The roads are good. I honestly didn't expect to see such good roads.

Sabie is such a beautiful small town, if you are looking for place to recharge your batteries and ground yourself, Sabie is the place to visit! What I loved the most is that you can visit all the waterfalls in one day if you are pressed for time. Luckily, I had four days to explore. The only waterfall I didn't see was Forest Falls. Hopefully, next time when I visit I will have enough time to get to it and also do the Fanie Botha Hiking Trail.

We had a fantastic time at The Sabie Town House! The location is perfect – peaceful yet central for exploring the area. We were especially impressed by the spacious rooms and the cozy atmosphere of the property. The breakfast was excellent and lovingly prepared. The service was outstanding, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
A gorgeous old comfy home in a tiny village outside of Sabie where your quality of sleep is unsurpassed. Good facilities throughout the home including wall heaters and a brand new Weber braai. Inside and outside table for the whole family . Proper sized dustbin!
