We arrived after 7:00 PM, so the main entrance was closed. Instead, we entered through two booms via Cardiff Street. Thankfully, the 24-hour reception was a lifesaver throughout our stay. Coming from guesthouses, we were surprised to find no iron or ironing board in the room. However, the hotel offered a convenient laundry service, which worked out well. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the ambiance—a whimsical blend of Harry Potter’s magic and Bioshock’s retro aesthetic, or at least that’s the vibe it gave us!

Absolutely loved the Onyx. The staff were very professional at the front desk and restaurants. Hotel was always clean. Especially loved the Ben Sherman bath products. The only thing I would add to my room is a full length mirror for dressing.
