The host were very welcoming and accommodating🙏🤩. We arrived early and they allowed us to check in early 🥰Charlotte the wife was kind enough to let us use their kitchen as we are Muslim and the accomidation we had actually intended on staying at came with a kitchen, but Willows did not. Yet we had the full use of the kitchen after explaining this to them 🙏🥰They are very kind, friendly chatty people. We also stayed a bit longer as we decided to fly home instead of enduring another 23hour bus drive so check out was a bit later 😉 I cannot thank them enough for the generosity, kindness and hospitality they showed us. Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay. The wifi was strong, bath was amazing, love the separate toilet, shower very spacious. The fan was a nice addition. And Emanuel the caretaker was Very friendly and a great help.

    The fact that all resturants close early is big downfall expecialy those that deliver food.I had to walk to a garage to buy food only to find pies.We bought 4 but when got to our place we found 3 in the bag.😭

    Vereeniging is an old mining town and has a lot of history.

    Vereeniging is an old mining town and has a lot of history. This is a lovely place to visit if you enjoy the history of towns. I especially enjoyed the boat cruise and seeing the old water pump and the clubhouse and the areas where the old mining houses were. The history of the hotel was fascinating for me. Love Vereeniging.

    It's a really beautiful place and would love to visit again.

    It's a really beautiful place and would love to visit again. The views are gorgeous and there is so much to do. My daughter enjoyed the aqua world at Emerald resort, definitely check it out. My only displeasure was the transport situation, there was no uber in the place which made it difficult to get around, and I had to book my trip to the airport in advance, which was expensive. However, there are taxis available.

    FAVORITE SPORT: PLAYING GOLF AT MACCAUVLEI AND HERON BANKS. THESE ARE VERY GOOD GOLF COURSES WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE. MEMORABLE BOAT TRIP AND MEALS AT RIVIERA ON THE VAAL HOTEL. ATTENDED BRAAI AT BOTLE BA AFRICA IN VAN DER BYL. GOOD RECEPTION AND SERVICE.

    a complete waste of time as the resort was not as promoted and listed, and no bedding or towels were available from the time we checked in right up to the point (housekeeping) we checked out early. Very very unhappy with the poor service at the resort. the reception staff is the only positive and super helpful staff that tried there best to keep us from not booking out. this is so unacceptable that such a highly rated resort can have such bad service. esspecially with the most important part, the ROOM......BEDDING AND TOWELS!!!! we booked time away and planned this in high spirits to come and be so unhappy about the money we spent. nevermind the dissapointment. I really wonder in this review will make a difference and even get any attention.

    The staff at the reception was very friendly.

    The staff at the reception was very friendly. A few things need fixing in the room such as the mat as it is old and the headboard. They need to install one that's suitable for that bed, not combine 2 small ones. The restaurant needs to do better. The food is just too basic for such a big hotel. They can't even make a simple burger and wings. The service is very poor.

    Hotel view is marvelous. The biggest bed I have ever seen. The bar staff and cleaning lady be blessed. There was a double payment with my credit card. Staff lady from accounts very professional she helped me and went all out to make sure I get my refund on the same day. I forgot her name but she is the reason I might come back
