I loved the hotel location, it's 2 min from the sea, and in the heart of the old city. The room was amazing, everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, everything feels really new and good quality. The hotel staff is nice & friendly, and they provide really high quality service. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day, all the toiletries restocked - it's like you enter a new, clean room each day, not every hotel does that! The staff also helped me arrange a transfer from the airport. Breakfast is served in a lovely cafe downstairs, it's tasty and great value too.

everything was perfect except for the terrible smell coming from the drain in the bathroom
! It was unbearable! The smell was so bad it drove us crazy and ruined all the other nice aspects of the stay. The apartment is beautiful, new, and comfortable, but it has a major flaw.

Limassol is a city that is growing strongly with traits of modernity that are combined with traits of a town that has an ancient tradition and history. The inhabitants are very kind and helpful. It has good sea air, it does not seem like a city polluted by smog. You can eat well in the various restaurants and in particular those near the Old Port.

Limassol is a mixture of old and new.
Limassol is a mixture of old and new. It's a very busy lively place. The Old Town has so many restaurants catering for every taste. There are 2 Theatres which have regular concerts plays and films. There are 2 cinemas.
You are never far from the sea where there is a lovely palm lined promenade.
My favourite place is the Old Town and especially the old market. I always eat at the Polycarpos restaurant which serves traditional Cypriot food. Inside the old market building are many small food vendors and an airconditioned play area for little children.

Limassol is an amazing city.
Limassol is an amazing city. A place you can visit all year round. We explored the beauty of the ancient Limassol Castle and enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the charming old town. Also we visited the modern and luxurious Limassol Marina where we had a highly delightful and tasty dinner at Pier One Cafe RestoBar.

Limassol (Lemasos) is a place which is right a the centre of the southern coast. The city itself is very beautiful and happening with lot of things to see in and around the town. Additionally if you have a car then you can plan various day trips to Paphos, Troodoos, Aya Napa , Nicosia etc. We planned this trip in December and it rains heavily , so plan your trips accordingly looking at the region where chances of rain are less ;) . It worked for us.

An interesting place.
An interesting place. The center isn't anything special, but the old marina is very nice, and has some great restaurants. There are nice kids' parks along the coast in the city center, and the city is close to famous archaeological sites (and has one in the city). The area between the Four Seasons hotel and st. Raphael resort is very pretty for a long beach walk. If you're staying outside the city center (I recommend to stay in the area between the two hotels), but you're close to the route 30 bus, it's easy to go to the center or elsewhere close to the main road, and the busses go often. Intercity busses go rarely, and are not as reliable, but it's still possible to visit them by bus. But if you want to explore the island or any places that are not the big cities, it's impossible to do without a car. Daily car rentals are around 20€.

At Christmas time it was overcrowded I would say.
At Christmas time it was overcrowded I would say. If not to spend all day in the city it was great. Sightseeng around like Kolossi castle, Amathus (Amathunda), Courion, Paradox museum, Carob museum. Platres, Lady's mile with salty lakes. Away from croud. Better to go shopping or to see the city itself is before noon.
If interested in programme for adults then evening is the right time.
Tasty food is in the Aristos and Kitty kebab. Pizza Hut on A. Georgiou street, Yermsogya village.

Very nice old-fashioned Hotel, we like it in this sophisticated way and it offers an individual style. The restaurant is in a very big hall, lots of space, generous. The Pool offers space, nice color, clean water. You can take breakfast at the pool, inside, well equipped breakfast, typical for Cyprus. The room was clean, the bed good, but not fabulous.
The situation of the Hotel is a bit outside the City-Center but there are many buses going into town. It is quiet and not on the front row to the sea, near to the big Museums.
location : was great steps from marina and the old city
stuff : all of them was great ( maria ) was amazing and she helped us a lot
room : good size , modern , clean and very comfortable.
the online check in was great
the breakfast : was very delicious
we had a great trip in Limassol because of this hotel .
the resturant facing the hotel had an amazing Cyprus food and was very delicious must try .
Amara exceeded our expectations from the moment you arrive until your leave, the service is impeccable. The hotel ambiance and vibe is beautiful and calming and the interior design and styling is exquisite. The Italian restaurant food is also beautiful. Perfect couple of days for us after our wedding in Cyprus.
The hotel is close to Limassol, very clean, great selection of food! Very friendly staff, right on the beach, perfect for nature lovers, and a great spot for explorers, in the middle of all wonderful things yo see or do in Cyprus. Kids friendly.
