Cowes is a lovely shore side town on Phillip Island.
Cowes is a lovely shore side town on Phillip Island. It is at the far end of the island from the bridge to cross over to the island. The town is well equipped with all softs of shops, and is a good spot to use as a base to travel around the island and experience all the sights that are available.Guest review byBruceAustralia - Review score10.0
It was a pleacent stay at this property.
It was a pleacent stay at this property. More cleaned rooms with beautiful views outside and from the balcony. All inside facility and quality furniture set up at the lounges was more money worthy. The San Remo town centre was attractive and close with the property.Guest review byDANTYAustralia - Review score8.0
The staff were most helpful and informative.
The staff were most helpful and informative. I was notified by message if/when changes were made. My only objection would perhaps be no electric frying pan in the Cabin. It was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.. I would definitely recommend to others.Guest review byMagdalenaAustralia - Review score10.0
Nature at its best.
Nature at its best. Rugged coastline, echidnas, cape barron geese penguins and long necked turtles. Hotel Philip Island was very good for lunch. Mrs Isla Cafe in Church Road served great coffees and cakes.Guest review byLouiseAustralia - Review score10.0

Lovely quiet part of Phillip Island but short travel time to all the attractions we visited. Very much recommend visiting the wildlife park in Cowes and Churchill Island. Markets on everywhere we went. Delightful short term stay, we all loved our time there.Guest review byGordonAustralia - Review score10.0

Lovely place, very quiet area, however not too far from the tavern if you wanted to go out for a meal. 15-20 minutes from Cowes on the Island where there are restaurants, a shopping centre and petrol stations. Approx. 15-20mins from the penguin parade and costal board walk. Amazing views of the coast and mainland. It’s a lot bigger than we realised.Guest review byMeganAustralia - Review score10.0

Lovely modern home with lovely touches.
Lovely modern home with lovely touches. Disappointed with cleanliness of balcony as it hadn’t been cleaned, it was dirty and greasy not just covered in sand from beach. We spent an hour cleaning it up. We also cleaned the house before we left, so wasn’t too happy about the cleaning charge on top of stay.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - Review score10.0

The main beach is beautiful, with a ramp for all abilities (and dog) access. Dogs are allowed on lead at the beach at specific times. The water and sand are clean. There are rockpools to explore at low tide. Smiths Beach General Store provides for basic provisions during the day. Smiths Beach is a short drive (less than 10 mins) into Cowes and The Nobbies.Guest review byKylieAustralia - Review score8.0
Cowes is a cool climate beach and water.
Cowes is a cool climate beach and water. If you cannot afford cost or time to get warmer water, enjoy what is affordable at Cowes. If you want extras, try half-hour drive to San Remo pub, or one hour to Wonthaggi.Guest review byPeter or GwenAustralia
