Featuring a private beach area, Sheer Bliss BeachView Apt #1 offers accommodations in Georgetown.

This stay was excellent. All of the pictures acurately showed what it looked liked, it was located exactly where it was shown on the map (which is important given that there are no formal addresses), it was walkable to the grocery store, a great cafe, a great lunch spot, and several very nice beaches. It was also great being right off of the main road.

Just a 2-minute walk from Jolly Hall Beach and 1.1 miles from Turtle Beach, Sheer Bliss BeachView Apt #2 features accommodations in Exuma Harbour Estates with a private beach area.

Clean, newly refreshed/renovated and had all the necessities. The location is good as it is close to George Town as well as has a beach across the street and the turtle beach is just 1 km way. And as an extra bonus, it has the best family owned diner next door - you absolutely have to visit it :) also, quick response and great care provided to any questions or concerns raised by the owner. Thank you!

Facing the beachfront, St Francis Resort offers 3-star accommodations in Georgetown and has a private beach area, shared lounge and terrace.

St. Francis was exactly what we envisioned. Laid back, Bahama paced with all amenities required for an extremely lovely vacation. Instead of a hotel room we decided to book one of six stationary houseboats. While simple, the design included a living room area, kitchenette with a full refrigerator, bathroom with shower and a queenside bed. Along with an waterfront facing front “porch” the accommodation was more than adequate for two people. All meals were served at their “Snappy Turtle” hillside restaurant where the slower pace forced you relax. Take a breath and chill. We especially relished the grilled lobster, coconut shrimp and fish of the day complimented by fresh vegetables and Bahamian vegetable rice. However, the beautiful, dazzling blue waters were the reason we were drawn to Exuma. A boat was always available to take you to any of the many beaches. A weather permitting three hour boat tour allowed us to decide which of the many Stocking Island locations we could spend a day swimming, snorkeling or just enjoy relaxing with a drink on the soft sand. We were lucky enough during our tour to travel south to one of the many sandbanks where tide changes the landscape quickly. Our guides were knowledgeable and showed us starfish, sea fans and conch that could be covered by feet of water or exposed to the sun depending on the tide. All in all from the greeting on our arrival to the last day of our stay the staff were truly amazing and willing to do anything they could to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Offering sea views, Turtles Nest Bahamas in Hermitage provides accommodations, a garden, and a terrace.

Mark and Beatriz are fantastic and caring hosts. They prepared the breakfast for us twice, as we explored the island the other 2 days. Mark gave us exceptional tips on beaches, restaurants, snorkeling, drives, everything!! Really recommended, totally. Plus they have a sweet dog Sasha that made our vacation even more special.

A 17-minute walk from Jolly Hall Beach in Georgetown, Da Sugar House offers accommodations with access to a hot tub. This property offers a private pool and free private parking.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Da Sugar House in Exuma, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the property felt like a home away from home, with its cozy charm and perfect location. The house itself is beautifully designed—tastefully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host, Steve. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from offering local tips on the best beaches to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel welcome and taken care of every step of the way. The location of Da Sugar House is perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to all the wonderful sights and activities Exuma has to offer. We especially loved spending time on the private porch, enjoying the breeze and the breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a peaceful and memorable escape in Exuma, I can't recommend Da Sugar House and Steve enough!

SANDY BOTTOM COTTAGES provides rooms in Mount Thompson. This apartment offers free private parking, free shuttle service, and free Wifi. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk.

Location was in a family neighborhood. Rowena and Lincoln were very responsive and friendly, and had so much information plus they knew everyone on the island! The pickup to and from the airport was top notch in a Mercedes suv and the on-site rental car was also very convenient (a car is very necessary to see all the sights in Exuma). There are a couple new cottages being built right on the beach (water pics are from these cottages). Our cottage was just up the road and inland from the beach cottages (pics of cottage are the ones we stayed in), but we did have access to the beautiful private beach and no one in site for miles. We had a small kitchen we cooked in with a full size fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster. Overall it was an amazing time and we would stay again.

Georgetown is not well maintained, and it was hard and slow to get a water taxi over to Coconut Club on Stocking Island. The liquor tried to charge me US$82 for a small bottle of Tequila - which was clearly not the real price

Location is perfect for visiting the breathtaking views of the northern part of Great Exuma and the hotel itself is on a beautiful beach. All rooms are spacious and modernly designed, most amenities, comfy beds and a balcony! Free coffee every morning in the lobby and varied menus for dinner each evening. The staff, as with all Bahamians is friendly, welcoming and they accommodated all of our requests. We enjoyed the live music on Wednesday with a Sax player! A rental car makes the stay in Georgetown more enjoyable, taxis are available but tend to run between $35-$55 per ride, so a car, even at $100 pre day is worth it.

If you're looking for nightlife or nice restaurants to eat this is not the place to go. There is literally one place that you can eat. It's hard to find food to cook on your own because you have to wait for the boat to come in if you're buying groceries, there's not a lot and they are expensive. If you want to fish and boat, this is the place but it is very expensive to rent. At night time there is absolute nothing to do but sit home and drink or go to the one bar "yacht club" to drink.

The property is not located in Hartswell but Williams Town, Little Exuma. Please change information, as this could be very confusing for a first time traveler to Exumas. I loved the Tropic of Cancer Beach, and the friendly people of the Exumas. The beauty of the water in Exumas is out of this world. Every time I went for a beach walk or swim I thanked and praised God for his magnificent creation.

Had taxi stop at market and liquor store when we arrived for beer and sunscreen to take to St Francis Resort & Marina where we stayed on a houseboat with beautiful views! Staff was super accommodating and very nice! Sterling was amazing! Chef at Snappy Turtle restaurant prepared fantastic meals that did not disappoint. Kayaked to Chat N Chill and had so much fun! Locals are friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful location to unplug and explore. Highly recommend.

A small island hideaway used by yachties and boaters.

A small island hideaway used by yachties and boaters. The water is incredibly stunning, beautiful sunsets and friendly people. The Flying Pig Cafe is run by the folks at Embrace Resorts with a variety of food and drinks available. The Staniel Cay Yacht Club was a great place for hanging out, watching the yachts moored and excellent food. A great place to people watch. The beaches were spectacular with soft white sand and calm waters on one side of the island and the more craggy and rougher Atlantic side. There is one church on the island that visitors and the island people attend. A very warm, hospitable and friendly island. Take an excursion to tool around the islands. Gold carts are the best way to get around, but bikes and walking is easy to do as well. The island is small, only about 2 square miles. One can't get lost! There are a few grocery stores as well. Just remember, most food is imported and expensive. Bring cash, as there are no ATM's on the island. Some places will take credit cards.

We have never seen a more beautiful place - on the ocean side of the road. The other side of the road showed a lot of neglect and trash, but the beauty opposite this was so incredible you are able to ignore the rest. Also, the locals are all so incredibly helpful and friendly! I never once felt fearful.

    just an unbelievable location.

just an unbelievable location. We wish we had spent longer here because we spent the next half of oour holiday at the atlantis and it was awful compared to staniel cay. we even swam in unpopulated beaches and saw wild stingrays, it was just amazing.
