Exclusively located on its own private island, this luxury resort offers the only overwater bungalows in the Cook Islands, offering prime views of Aitutaki Lagoon, one of the world’s most beautiful...

All types of accommodation were very private. We had a beachfront bungalow that was very spacious and comfortable. We rode the bikes that were provided which a a great feature. The setting could not have been more beautiful and the staff more accommodating. The breakfast menu had a wide variety of foods to try and other meals were generous and tasty. We would have liked to stay longer and will try and return.

Tai'inu Bungalows is a recently renovated vacation home in Amuri where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden.

The host was first rate from pick up to drop off for the return flight. Fruit and full carton of milk in room on arrival were most welcome and an orientation tour was an excellent bonus. Location was great with good swimming and snorkeling a short walk along the beach. Scooter hire on site was very convenient and an excellent form of transport on the island although I would prefer helmets to be available. No dogs roaming the property was great too.

Boasting beautiful sea or garden views from your private veranda, Tamanu Beach features a beachfront restaurant and bar and a private beach area.

We loved this small family owned resort with friendly staff and a great location on the beach. We loved the complimentary use of snorkel and goggles (no flippers), the kayaks, the SUPs, and the bikes, which were great because there are no public buses on the island. Complimentary breakfast is amazing with full buffet options as well as an option from the a la carte menu. Rooms are spacious with a large bathroom and walk in shower as well as an outdoor shower, which we loved! The horizon pool was fabulous especially at night watching the stars! We’d definitely stay again.

Offering a picturesque beachfront location, Ranginuis Retreat features an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ facilities. Guests enjoy free use of kayaks.

The location of Ranginuis is just stunning, the view never got old and access to the lagoon couldn't have been easier. This place was a paradise, and the atmosphere and simplicity of the place was just easy and relaxing.

Moana Villa Aitutaki offers accommodations in Arutanga, a 2-minute walk from Aitutaki Beach. There's free private parking, and the property provides a paid airport shuttle service.

The host Tamara and her family were very helpful and hospitable from when I arrived till I departed. The island was busy this particular week and they helped with local places for food and entertainment.

With Aitutaki Beach reachable in 1.4 miles, Tavake Villa provides accommodations, a restaurant, a private beach area, a garden, and a bar.

The host was friendly and knowledgeable. The villa was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. The air conditioning worked well. View of the lagoon and the surf breaking over the reef was spectacular. Mark, our host, lent us his car (competative price) and also took us out to One Foot Island in his skiff. A much better choice than a larger boat with many tourists. On the premises is a great little restaurant and food store. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The menu was versatile with vegan options. The mango smoothies were great to quench our thirst during the hot summer days on Aitutaki. Overall--a great place to stay if you like to avoid the resort crowd and actually meet the locals.

I loved the friendliness of the islanders.

I loved the friendliness of the islanders. My bike chain came off 3 times on a ride to the grocery store. Each time an islander came out of their house, or stopped their car to help. Once on a walk, a woman invited us to her porch and gave us 15 mangoes. In today’s troubled these acts of kindness by the cook islanders, was such a reassuring thing.

Loved the location and beach views.

Loved the location and beach views. A small amount of eating facilities in the area, and most were very good. We used tourist activity vans to be picked up and delivered, plus our accommodation did transfers to/from airport. So we did not have transport. Readily available car and scooter rental at our accommodation had we wanted it. Recommend the lagoon tours at Aitutaki

    Definitely stay here.

Definitely stay here. We stayed just the one night, and could've stayed here much longer. It's so peaceful and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent places to eat are close by and the beach is immaculate.
