The glamorous Rutland Hotel has stylish rooms, a luxurious late-lounge, and a unique restaurant with a glass wine cellar.

The girls on reception Stacie and the American lady - sorry we didn’t get her name - they saw we had our elderly mother with us and offered us alternative accommodation as there are no lifts to the apartments. Well done ladies for the excellent hospitality. Centre of town and just lovely accommodation Real milk supplied in room. Restaurant downstairs again with lovely staff

Situated in Edinburgh's West End, The Bonham Hotel is a Victorian town house. Majority of the bedrooms have a city view.

Exceptional breakfast choice and quality, in a lovely setting. The room quality, including bed and everything on it, luxurious and tasteful. Staff were very welcoming, professional and personable. I appreciated the service of bringing my luggage to the room at check in, whilst I was out and about. Also, I was given complimentary glasses of fizz that I would've taken advantage of, if not a tea-totaller.

Located in the centre of Edinburgh, just a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Mile and 650 yards of The Real Mary King's Close, Market Street forms part of Edinburgh’s historic skyline.

The hotel was spotlessly clean with a luxurious feel throughout. Staff very professional and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was really first class. Breakfast was really excellent. Hotel is ideally situated between old and new towns. Great for exploring both.

Just a great city, lively bars and restaurants, nice parks.

Just a great city, lively bars and restaurants, nice parks. Lots to see and do. Good transport with trams, buses and trains. Locals were friendly, we found one or two local bars which were very welcoming. Great countryside outside the city, some lovely beaches at North Berwick about an hour away. Definitely a place I want to return to more. The one downside is parking is very expensive, £24 for 3 hours on street parking around the centre and £35 for overnight car park. Need to plan for that in future so maybe train is the best option or book parking in advance. Otherwise a great place to be

Queensferry is a lovely town, but suffers as all have from shops being turned in to hairdressers and charity shops. Could do with a little bit of care and attention to some of the lovely old buildings which are looking a bit stressed.

Quite a pleasant seaside town/harbour which I'm sure will be able to fill a day or more if you are there in the sunny weather - it was February when we were here and it was a tad chilly! Lots of interesting shops on the high street and places to eat too.

Just very disappointing, nice looking pictures online but the reality is far removed. Probably ok for 4 lads looking for a place to crash and go into the city but the slightly more discerning amongst you will find this second floor property, complete with ghetto style entrance and stairways rather lacking.

The property was not really clean or welcoming.

The property was not really clean or welcoming. Ignition on cooker did not work, table lights have no wall sockets, etc. we had to buy matches to cook. Also there are no towels/ tea towels. It is like being back in the 1970s but not in a good way. Avoid unless you are desperate for the location which is lovely.
