This was our 2nd visit in 2 years. We went back out of our way the second trip just to stay here again. The Restaurant is amazing, the food is perfection and the cocktails are perfectly created. The room was spotless and the staff was very attentive. We will be back again!

Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was big and worth the extra price. Room was large with roomy bathroom area. The spa was nice with multiple areas for steam rooms, sauna, and showers to cool off in between. Loved the walking trails which are well-maintained, even in the shoulder season. Wish I could have stayed longer! The lounge areas were cozy with fireplace and games. Appreciated that the outdoor pool is adults-only. The pool area does require swim caps for an extra fee and towel/robe rental for an extra fee which seemed excessive due to the price of the hotel.

The 5-star Dunloe Hotel & Gardens overlooks the Gap of Dunloe. It features a 25-yard pool, sauna, steam room, and indoor Nintendo Wii games room.

We spent two nights at the Dunloe Hotel and Gardens, while exploring the Dingle Peninsula and Kerry Ring Roads. The hotel is very modern and beautiful, with nice bar and great breakfast. We ate dinner their the first night and it was very good. We enjoyed the grounds including and seeing the 12 century castle ruins. The room was excellent. We even took a ride on the Austrian ponies (free with room). Apparently lots of families there in summer, but we were there in Sept so more adults. We drove the Dunloe pass which was amazing (not an easy drive but amazing experience).

Killarney is the most wonderful place.

Killarney is the most wonderful place. The scenery is spectacular and breathtaking. Definitely need a car for the best experience. Killarney town is a tourism town and they know how to do that very well. Traffic and congestion is a bit of an issue but that is because of its popularity. Recommend the Gap of Dunloe drive, Muckross house and national park, Ross castle, and to drive the ring of Kerry. Portmagee,Valentia Island, Dingle a must.

We loved Kenmare, it was such a cute little town with a lot to offer, fun shopping and good eats. Very walkable. It’s a great place for access to Killarney NP and we wish we could have explored more there. Now that we know of Kenmare we will definitely be spending more time here on our next visit.

Sneem is a lovely village with plenty of eateries.

Sneem is a lovely village with plenty of eateries. We loved the Sacre Coeur restaurant. A visit to the Brushwood Studio to see their art was great. A wide variety of art produced by members of the same family. Very friendly and no pressure to buy. The scenery was brilliant when the rain was off!!

The location was perfect for our requirements, to observe the night sky. No light pollution. We had a really nice experience. Thanks to all involved. 👍👍👍

    A great little village.

A great little village. Only 1 shop in the fuel station, but it was just about enough. Beach close by (Rossbeigh), although Kells beach was much nicer as it's more secluded and out of the wind. Unless you want the wind! Few nice short and long walks accessible from Glenbeigh.

Waterville is a quiet coastal town with good beachfront walks, nice restaurants and spectacular views. We ate in the Butlers arms hotel pub and had deliciously cooked fish and chips. Took a lovely seafront walk and stopped for a drink in the popular Lobster bar and restaurant where the food looked and smelled delicious, noted for next time. Waterville was ideal for a one night stay to get away from it all or as a quiet stop when touring the ring of Kerry.

We came from Fermoy co. Cork to attend the dingle food festival. While we were a consideration distance from dingle the drive to dingle from Kells was lovely and the accommodation and staff at the accommodation were very accommodating.
