when i arrived at the radisson i thought breakfast was included but it wasn't ..and the 7 euro charge for delivery was a con..overall i felt the radisson was trying to con more money out of me..sunday night we stayed in cliftden at the station view..the room was much bigger, breakfast was better and breakfast was included in the room which cost 103 euro for the night which was a deal for that night..i felt they were trying to do more for us than the radisson .Guest review bywilliamIreland - Review score10.0

If the weather is good go to Belvedere House for a walk and coffee. It's so lovely and peaceful at the lake. In the town there's plenty to check out. We had a brunch in Bellys which was lovely and then headed to Montogmerys whiskey bar - just a cosy little spot. There's a sweet shop just near it and there was all sorts of treats on offer!!Guest review byTuohyIreland - Review score10.0
We only had a 1 night stay here.
We only had a 1 night stay here. We would definitely have stayed longer. 2 nights would have been lovely. However, upon arrival we were greeted at Reception by 2 lovely people. Immediately we were poured a refreshing sparkling drink and after a little bit of banter were shown to our room. The room opened out onto a small terrace which looked on to the Lake. The sound of the water lapping up towards was so tranquil. The room was beautiful. A large bed with a porthole window above it with the light shining through from the en suite. The room was extremely comfortable. Complimentary Water, cookie, crisps and dark chocolate. Tea making facilities in the room with real milk in the fridge... After we settled in we made our way to the Spa where we had Back Massages booked. The staff here were so nice and after an initial consultation we were taken for our treatments which were very well received. We then went downstairs to the Infinity pool. Such a treat. We had booked the Hot Tub after that. Off we headed in our robes again outside where there was a beautiful wood burning stove. Rhian showed us down to the Hot Tubs and after he filled glasses with Proscecco he left us to 39 minutes of pure bliss. The rain was pouring down but we were in heaven in our 40 degree plus Heat of water. We had our meal booked for 8.45pm. However we arrived early to the bar for a drink where we were shown menus and our order was taken. Once we were shown to our table the food was out in a jiffy. No waiting around here. Our meal was delicious washed down with a Fantastic recommendation of a bottle of wine. Although we hadn't room for dessert our server arrived out with a beautiful treat for us as we were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. What a lovely thoughtful touch. All in all we'd a lovely stay and would certainly return.Guest review byMartinaIreland - Review score10.0

Perfect place to stay upon your arrival to Dublin or on your way out to the airport the following day. Just under an hour from the international airport, so you can ease your way into driving on the "wrong side" of the road and eliminate tackling the adjustment in the middle of the city (save that for later in your trip, my advice) So just heading west for a bit and then off the motorway for just a few minutes and you are here at this gorgeous property. The owners could not be nicer nor more accomodating. Very comfortable rooms, lovely sitting room with a cozy fire going, tea cake served in the afternoon and the *best* Irish breakfast going in ten counties, I swear! I just love the Templemacateer House. Farm animals are the bonus feature, too.Guest review byJulieUnited States - Review score10.0

I liked the set up of the lodge.
I liked the set up of the lodge. In need of a paint on door area and entrance. Carpets could do with a clean and more attention to cleaning detail. Towels left in washing machine from previous guests. Bedding should always be fresh for new guests. It's not acceptable if this is not the case.Guest review byChristineIreland - Review score10.0

Castlepollard is situated in the countryside, right in line with nature and full advantage of the location utilized. The environment is quiet, The rooms are quiet and you can hear the birds singing in the early hours of the morning. The staffs are super nice and very helpful and went the extra mile to help visit comfortable. All information is carefully and clearly passed. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and laid out, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast room is spacious with dining chairs and a table. Just make sure you hire a car and you're up for the best relaxing time of your life.Guest review byBenedcitUnited Kingdom - Review score10.0
Collinstown is a lovely place!
Collinstown is a lovely place! The Highfield House offered views of the Lough Lene, and the amazing green hills and valleys that just rolled on forever. Breakfast, full Irish as well as vegetarian, were offered. A short drive, offered options for a picnic lunch. A 10 minute drive to us to Delvin to a lovely pub (sorry I can't remember the name). The food and service were great. Collinstown and surrounding areas were easy and safe to get around. Locals were friendly, and happy to offer directions and make suggestions. Next time.....I will stay longer. I loved it. Thanks Yvonne and Paul.Guest review byDeeUnited States - Review score10.0
