How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Rooms are small for a family with young children, It needs an upgrade.

I booked a budget room with the expectation of an "Inner courtyard view," as mentioned in the description. However, upon arrival, it became apparent that the so-called "inner courtyard" was, in reality, a cramped 2x2 meter lightwell. The thin walls made it possible to hear conversations, showers running, and even if someone had a light on in their room. To compound the disappointment, I booked during winter, and the room temperature was excessively high. Unfortunately, there was no way to cool down the room as there was no window to the outside. This made the stay extremely uncomfortable. Adding to the list of drawbacks, the shower was exceptionally small. Overall, I was disappointed with the hotel experience, especially given the disparity between the description and the actual conditions.

Staff were not welcoming at all and looked like they didn´t want to be there.

Needs better ventilation. It gets humid quickly. Old A/С barely takes it out, and the room smells like a wet dog.
Great location. Right in the city center's commerce part. Pet-friendly. Positive and friendly reception. Good sound isolating windows.

A floor lamp did not work and I informed the staff. When a replacement bulb did not work, nothing further was done and the room was a little darker than I prefer.
What a location! Close to everything. Liked everything about the room except for the lighting. Great variety for breakfast and was able to order an omlet.

Parking is ca. 200 m away a public park house. It belongs to a shopping mall and is 15,00 per night.
Very nice room comfortable bed, we didnt have breakfast but we went for dinner in the Restaurant if you like beef you must try the steak, it was so tender and lovely. One of the best steaks i ever had.

I have booked the hotel looking at location and the fact (as stated on booking.com) there is a private parking. When we arrived it appeared that the hotel parking is very small thus most of the guests are directed to a shopping mall parking some 100 meeters from the hotel. The inconvenience was that we had to carry our bags (we had a few) through a crowded large shop and along the street. In addition, I wanted to pick up the car from the shopping mall parking in the morning, before shops opened which turned not to be easy. Automatic payment machine did not work and there was no person in the parking kiosk. It took me some 30 minutes to run around and find a person with whom I could pay and leave with the car. I think this hotel should not be advertised on booking.com as providing private parking.
Hotel location is very good, right in the center of La Vella, walking distance to main Andorra shopping area as well as the old part of the town with restaurants and bars. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
