Noisy fridge in room, had to unplug it at night. Mosquito bites - lots of them! Suspect the fresh water system for showers and wash basins is gravity fed and the water pressure at times was almost non-existent which is a problem when your wife is in the shower with hair full of shampoo! Evening entertainment wasn’t consistently done, some stand-out acts but some were very bland. On one or two evenings everyone abandoned the bar area by around 9pm and went to bed!

Amazing staff, nothing was too much trouble. Very good food, plenty of choice, all freshly prepared and served to table. Good drinks choice. Clean and tidy beaches, good beach bar and bbq, watersports available . We liked the ‘rustic’ and simple no-fuss nature of the hotel, which might not be to everyone’s taste. I’d recommend spending time studying the hotel website and photo gallery before deciding.

The food was a bit random sometimes cold when arrived and combinations were a bit odd like lamb and prawns. Everything wlse was great. The hotel is amazing

Sometimes the food arrived warm at best, even though its cooked to order. The cocktails/drinks were good but I have had better so we mainly had wine. The splash pool in our room developed algae which was a bit worrying, however the hotel had the pool cleaned as soon as I reported it. AC in the room was a bit noisy so much that it had to be on minimum at night, they tried to fix it but it was no better. Snack variety through the day could be improved as we didn't really want to eat a full lunch or bbq most days. Not the hotels fault but the mosquitoes were a real problem and we both got feasted upon, this is part of the deal when going to anywhere tropical so make sure you take precautions (resort provides DEET). Very steep pathways to the rooms, but if you want a great view then this is a necessity and we didn't mind the exercise !

all the resort staff are amazing, Kris the DM went out of his way for guests and arranged a hire car for us and offered us a lift from the marina back to the hotel in his own car! Food is very good and there is no shortage of it! Breakfast was a good choice and I regularly had the eggs benedict with sides, lunch and dinner always 3 courses and the menu repeats weekly. Snacks during the day comprise of an all day BBQ and paninis, the BBQ is really good but the other snacks looked a bit sorry so we didn't indulge! Entertainment every night and Dave and friends on the Thursday were exceptionally good. The chalet was very clean with amazing sunset and beach views. The hotel grounds are kept really well with flowers growing everywhere, the grounds team do a great job here. Very comfortable firm bed, which is important for me with a dodgy back.

The room itself has AC but the washroom does not. Not a big deal for us but if you are someone that requires a lot of prep time in there it gets very hot. Not a resort for folks with mobility issues since it's on the cliff side and you do need to go up and down to get around. They seem to have issues with the beer kegs on the beach - slow to get them in the am and lots of foaming when they pour.

We stayed at Cocos from Nov 11-18th. We had booked the Sunset View cottage but upon check-in they informed us we had been upgraded to the Premium cottage which was awesome. We had a great view of the sunset from our room. Before we arrived, we were asked about our mini bar preferences and they were respected and replenished daily. The room itself has a good working AC and a bug net on the bed which we used. I am prone to bug bites so I appreciated that they provided bug spray. We spent the week on Valley Church beach side since they were renovating on the Joly Beach side for a few days. We loved the beach bar and grill and had lunch there all but one day. The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a different menu each day along with daily specials which tented to be very good. Really enjoyed the variety of drink menus (with and without alcohol) at the bars. We were down at the beach at 830am each day and we were always able to get our favorite spot. The staff at the resort are all very friendly, chatty and accommodating.

The only thing that could have been slightly better was the Jolly beach side of the property. The bar was closed due to undergoing refurbishment which is probably the reason why, but the creek could have been cleaner, and the pool which was on that side we didn't feel was as up to standard as it could have been as there was always a fair bit of debris in it. Not that we overly minded but people (including us) clearly preferred the Valley Church beach which was always far more busy and cleaner.

The location and views were amazing, we loved watching the pelicans dive into the sea right outside the dining area. Apart from the odd course, the food was really very good, all a la carte, and a good selection of wines available in the all inclusive package. The drinks were pretty much all included as well in the package, including premium spirits, and they were not tight on portions! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and always there to help if you needed it. The room was also lovely, rustic, but we prefer that, we had a sunset view room, and it was a gorgeous view. They also supplied mosquito spray in the room (as well as a full net), and the minibar/drinks cabinet as well as the shower amenities (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) were all of good quality and well stocked. All in all we loved it and would go back.

Cocos is so Serene and Tropical....Beautiful Cottage s overlooking the Beautiful Carribean Sea...grounds are Lush and full of Palm trees ferns flowers...it's like being in a Jungle on the Water Staff are very Pleasant Food is Excellent..... We Love Cocos that's why we got Married here last November and came back this November for our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary

The bar in room was not correct even though we filled out requirements prior to travelling and this took 2 days to get right, they also run out of Rum, not heard of in Antigua.

Loved the location and beach was lovely. Views from restaurant was amazing, outside shower in room was really different. Staff were super friendly.

While we really enjoyed the stay it'd be fair to notice some room for improvement: - Jolly Beach was covered in a lot of seaweed and there was a stream of brownish smelly water coming from somewhere inland to the sea through the beach right next to the hotel. So, there were very few people at this beach throughout our stay. It also seemed like they held private dinners very close to it. We spent all our vacation at another beach which was excellent - There was a constant shortage of beach towels. Sometimes it wasn't possible to exchange them for a couple of days - While clean and well maintained, the hotel (cottages, public areas, utensils, etc.) shows signs of wear and tear. Some renovation might do good for them Also: - There were a lot of annoying midgets at the beaches in the morning before ~9am and in the afternoon after ~3pm. Don't forget about applying the repellent - The access to the hotel can't be found via Google Maps and the road sign is very small. Our local taxi driver had to do a couple of detours to finally find it

- Valley Church Beach is great. It is secluded, very clean, and has nice views - The staff people are all amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond organizing a trip to Stingray City for us on very short notice - The food is delicious. Especially at dinners, where the menu is rotating daily. The only weak spot was desserts as many of them weren't that good - When visiting Antigua definitely recommend Stingray City experience and "Bernie's Snorkeling Antigua W.I" for snorkelling
