United KingdomFelt like the place needed a bit of a face lift, our room was fine but definitely needed a retouch of paint and decor needs changing (picture in the room was a poster with dirt on), AC didn’t cool the room properly in the day, beach facilities were fine but loungers seemed very old and hawkers on beach were a headache and disturbed us a lot. They should have someone from the hotel overseeing how the hawkers interact with hotel residents, we often felt quite pressured by locals on the beach when we just wanted to relax… We found the front desk quite unhelpful - our phone was broken in the room and it took many requests to be told the phones were ‘broken’… the text service to the reception front desk was also broken so luckily we didn’t have an emergency. We were also told to pay 75 USD for a taxi which we never ever took picking us up from the airport… we told multiple people at reception we booked our own transfer and never took a hotel arranged taxi at checkin, and then at check out we were once again told to pay the 75 USD amount … we had to show the hotel pictures of our correspondence with them to evidence the fact we never asked for a taxi.. all slightly strange and frustrating !!

United KingdomLimited choice in the restaurant! For an all inclusive restaurant there wasn’t much choice/options on the dinning menu, the beach bar during the day. No deserts during the day e.g ice cream. There is also stagnant water near the beach and pool that have off an awful smell. Same location for the romantic meal on the beach. We had to cancel our celebration meal because the smell was so bad. The standard of the cleaning of the rooms wasn’t very good.
Location was wonderful! Staff were very good and very helpful. Especially at the front desk.

United StatesSome of the service staff seem overworked and sometimes it felt like a burden when we requested drinks to be made at the bars. On our second morning, our breakfast took an hour and fifteen minutes to get to us. My husband had to get up and ask how long our food would be since another couple came after us, ordered, got their food and left with us still waiting for our food.
The property was very clean and well kept. The highlight of our stay was the food. The food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was absolutely delicious each day. Sunset Beach which is close by to the property is also very nice. The staff at the front desk are attentive and helpful.

United KingdomOutdoor Showers were great during the day but huge amount mosquitoes at night made it impossible without getting bitten. Location looks lovely but right next to mangrove lake which is situated behind the beach on Jolly Beach with stream to the sea within the hotel area. The road to the hotel is not listed on google maps making my arrival via car very difficult find the right road. Food was all inclusive but limited to fix to three set course meals so if you are hungry or want extras you’re stuck in the evening.

United KingdomThe rooms were awful. View overlooking rubbish dump and cables. Pool shabby, old yellow mattress on balcony for “relaxing” on. Advised time of check out and need for luggage to be taken to taxi- no help arrived and had to do ourselves. Shoddy, poor quality place. We asked for an upgrade if available as genius level 2 and our 25th wedding anniversary and we were told the hotel was full- then later found out only 25% full

United KingdomTired and dirty swimming pool. Same lunch menu every day. Issues with cold water and then no water. Drainage from the flooded mangrove swamp via the beautiful beach into the azure blue sea, turning it brown and smelly, therefore only one beach not two. It was probably lovely 10 years ago and could be again with some much needed investment.

United KingdomAlthough we were encouraged to fill in a request prior to arrival then, upon arrival those requests were confirmed and assured, they seemed to struggle to cater to our vegan requests or needs. Consistently being offered meat and fish or no alternative. Even gave my wife a milkshake which she drank only to find it wasn't plant based! It was a good job she wasn't lactose intolerant.

United StatesThe special birthday dinner on the beach was rather expensive for what it was, even though the starters were very good. Unfortunately the place feels a little less classy and tired than other stays, for example the mess below on the rocks under the restaurant gave a feel that the hotel wasn’t well looked after. They fed the seagulls which meant they come trying to get your breakfast and the hotel is very close to other resorts and public beaches.
Beautiful outdoor showers and staff were wonderful. The sea was stunning.

United KingdomI needs a good update and paint the sun bed mattress are filthy the pool was shabby chipped and broken tiles the entertainment wasn’t really much the rooms were to dark and no full length mirrors in the room no where to sit down and do make up next to the pool is stagnant so lots of mosquitos the juices at the bars and breakfast was very watery no snacks The he restaurant didn’t have fans so you would get a extremely warm and at night you could hardly see your dinner very low lighting
