The property is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach but everything is looking rather tired! Desperately needs extensive refurbishment. Some units in the St. Vincent block on the ground level were having works done. I was in the St. Lucia block next door and my room was adequate, comfy bed, fluffy towels, and hot water in the shower and how much time is one going to spend in the room when on a beach type vacation. However, behind my room there were generators and pumps which were noisy and disturbed my sleep which was upsetting.

The staff were all very pleasant, dining was buffet style with a good selection to suit all palates. Not gourmet but very acceptable. The a la carte restaurant I didn’t experience but heard good reports. The beach? Is long, wide and lovely and calm water for swimming but not very well maintained. Not raked every morning and tufts of grass and weeds are beginning to take over.

Jolly beach resort was good value...have little to complain about...some staff were really excellent while others were less desirable...more of advice to future visitors; bring a tumbler with you as there is no bottle water in your rooms but a central water cooler and the tumbler will save you on ice/keeping your drinks colder for longer...food was good especially the a la carte at the pizzeria but you have to book reservations in the morning to dine from 6:30pm onwards but it is worth it....wifi is not strong throughout the compound but good in the room...i would suggest getting a digicel sim card with data to ensure you have steady data ...there is a mini plaza close to the marina just off the compound (Amarrs tours-pleasant people) where you can get it as well as there is a decent sized supermarket and pharmacy where you can explore and get little items you may need... beach is great...pool is great 👍

THE ENTERTAINMENT POLICY IS A JOKE, WHICH FORCED US TO BE UP TO 11:00 P,M ERY NIGHT LISTENING TO QUIT LOW-END AND OVERLY LOUD PERFORMERS. WE WANTED TO REST AFTER A DAY ON THE BEACH, BUT WERE FORCED TO LISTEN TO LOUD "MUSIC"EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. NOT AGAIN. WE CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT.

Entertainment was AWFUL. If you wanted a restful evening you were nonetheless forced to endure mediocire but VERY LOUD outdoor entertainment that could be heard in every room, often going to as late as 11:00 p.m. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get to sleep and earlier. The management seems unable to navigate between a restful holiday and loud, lousy night time "entertainment." We loved the beach and the staff was great, but we might nor return because of this ridiculous "entertainment" policy and we cannot recommend this resort.

The rooms are very basic. The air conditioning unit on the room leaked and was not fixed. Also the TV was not centred and the channels to watch were very limited.

The property has been refurbished since my last visit and there is a significant improvement. It has a good location and the beach is beautiful.

The rooms are very dated and could do with an update. Not all the lights were working, shades were wobbly, patio door not rolling, mirror splattered with paint.

Our bathroom was filthy upon arrival. Food was adequate. Zero activities going on at the "resort" Don't understand why we were charged a resort tax as there is no cleaning of the rooms, you have to get your own drinks, and no activities.

Beach was amazing, only about 1KM for walking, just have to do it a few times.

The fact that there’s no elevator. I was scared to leave my room at nights because it’s not so bright along the hallway or in the compound and the hallway is too narrow and not clear. I could not tell if someone was hiding around a corner.

I like the fact that it’s close to the beach The uniqueness in terms of the compound

Check in took almost one hour. The rooms are small and the shower stall was cramped. The balcony and view were nice. The staff didn't seem content. Our last night at dinner the manager accosted us rudely in the restaurant and caused us all to walk out without even eating. An unpleasant end to our mostly pleasant stay.

Beautiful beach and the pool with the swim up bar, fountain and waterfall was amazing. There are a few licensed vendors on the beach so one isn't pestered all the time by walkthrough sellers. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and lunch and dinner had good options. The mixed drinks were delicious.

The outdated room and its amenities. Lack of entertainment to keep the guests engaged. The food options especially breakfast were very limited. Charging for housekeeping was a turnoff. This should be free and the rooms should be refreshed everyday or every other day for longer staying guests. The mosquitos were a serious issue; consider frequent fogging. Conectivity issues for the entire stay especially at various points on the property.

The beach was captivating and the pools were great! Totally surprised by the upgraded room at checkin. Paulette at the front desk was very pleasant as well as the bartender with the glasses and cornrows (sorry could not remember his name)

The food we didn't like the fish and the choices of food is limited can't get the kind of food you were expecting for a caribbean destination. Very disappointed the Waitress and cook at the grill Saturday we're not kind. The chicken wrap was not good. I called her, and she threw down the plate with a rude expression. Sunday we went we sat for 20 mins noone came to took our order and there were not busy whoever one showed up. When she brought out my food, she threw it down and did not place it in front of me. I asked her for the kitchen, and I found her to be rude she is short, kind of mixed hair. The female bartender tells my husband he has to drink the beer 🍺 with all the white stuff he's telling her no I don't drink it she say you have to in which my husband took it as an insult then one of the server started to laughed.

My husband and I loved the view of the pool and surroundings.

Even if I do show positive comments, I should admit the following. It's overpriced for sure (but Carribean are generally speaking). There was a misunderstanding with resort fee which I had to repay there despite it was included in my booking.com confirmation (will get a refund). WIFI as reported by many is extremely bad in room, don't expect much. It's ok in the lobby...and surprisingly it was ok at the pool/beach where I could get youtube without interruption. For such a place, upgrading WIFI is just a must. The place is not that easy to find (was driving and got help from locals), it's a good 45 minutes drive from airport. There's not much around, but being all-in you normally don't need anything else. Also as reported by many...it's quite outdated, and a general upgrade would be needed (but then it may become far too expensive)

It's a big place with 2 pools...and along the prettiest beach of Antigua. Very quiet water though not that clear. There's plenty of room as I was staying there during low season. Breakfast and all-inclusive items were great...was a bit disappointed as lunch+evening meals are not buffet like as most of all-in places, but à la carte. Probably due to the fact not enough guests to make it buffet. People are generally friendly and helpful. Room was clean and TV worked well.
