Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWasn’t the prettiest place and some of the lighting was kind of weird and the tv didn’t really work
It was a reasonably price place to crash at while I waited for my flight the next morning. It had internet and the bed was comfy

RomaniaThere are some appliances that should be changed as they look slightly used up. I felt that using the some cover for the duvet is not hygienic at all. They only provided a very thin bed cover to compensate for the “reusable” duvet.
The hotel is quite centrally located. The staff was very helpful and prompt in replying to my messages and could check-in early.

United KingdomThe bed did not have a backboard. There was an problem with the type of room booked and what I ended up with.
Shower was very warm and spacious. The room was OK. Staff are helpful but unfortunately presumptuous of guests' requirements. Overall, not bad for a short stay.

TurkeyThe check-in process was a bit confusing, which might have been due to the late reservation, but it was time-consuming. If you’re paying with a credit card, keep in mind that they charge a commission fee.
The location is close to the center, and you can reach everywhere on foot. Even though I made the reservation late at night, I received a quick response.

ItalyThe stairs. They are very steep, with irregular steps, and for most of the way either shaky banisters only on wall side, or none at all. My room on the top floor opened directly onto the stairs. A death trap. Definitely not suitable for elderly, people with mobility problems, or anyone who is prone to coming back a little tipsy.
The room, the location

North MacedoniaI can't say that there were things I didn't like, but just minor inconveniences, that if the hotel can improve on, can also improve the overall experience. I didn't have a hair drier in the room, and as someone who was travelling light weight, I didn't have one with me either. Also, the shower head leaked from the sides, preventing the water coming out in full force, as well as the water from the bidet sprinkled in all directions.
I was looking for a place where I can spend the night, and since I am not comfortable with hostels, and at the same time I was trying to be careful with my budget, I came across Driti Hotel during my search. I was not disappointed. The room was clean, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming upon my arrival, and the location was convenient, just a few meters away in walking distance from the city center. However, keep in mind, if you are someone that is more picky with accommodation, and you prefer luxury, this might night be the place for you.

ArgentinaThe shower is literally over the toilet. The bathroom is a lagoon after taking a shower.
The staff (young lady who was working when we arrived) was really helpful, very fun and nice. She helped us with some indications about where and when we could catch our bus to the airport. The facilities are good for the price we paid.

SwitzerlandRoom and bathroom very small, staircase is very, very steep! Additional city tax was not visible at first sight in booking.com (I can't say who's fault it is..), so that was an extra 20% for us! Never happened otherwise during 3 weeks Albania..
Good location, close to everything for visiting Tirana..

United StatesAs no doubt many have noted, the room was really small. Generally, I am OK with small spaces, but I do tend to get annoyed when I don't have a place to sit normally. I tried sitting on the little bedside table, but even that wasn't possible because its flimsy metal legs began bending as soon as I put my weight on it. So this was one of those places where I had to sit on the corner of the bed and hunch over the bedside table, turned at an angle to fit between my legs, to eat and work on my computer. Tirana is relatively expensive for Albania, so you save some money by accepting a lower standard. And if you are out sightseeing all day, then the inconveniences of the room may be relatively trivial for you. I would not recommend this place for people who work remotely, though.
Check-in was smooth. Communication was effective. The room was clean enough. The hot water worked. The bed was perfectly comfortable. The location is decent.

United KingdomLot of noise from outside street, Even though check out was until 11, 10:20 the cleaner knocked on the door and said she wants to clean the room. She should wait until 11 in my opinion. Very small bathroom- the shower was almost above the toilet, water was splashing everywhere

United KingdomThe duvet cover wasn't changed, it's just kept in the cabinet. I suppose to use it but the cover's smelling bad. Also there's no breakfast available so you have to buy food for yourself.
It's centrally located in the city centre.

United KingdomWould have liked it more if there were hot drink faculties, even just a kettle and a hair dryer but overall good budget friendly place to stay in Tirana.
12 minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off/city centre. Also local to supermarkets and main touristy attractions! Good price for a few nights too. Shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. Please note the shower is in the same room as the toilet so the whole toilet floor gets wet but there are wet shoes in the room. Towels also included!

RomaniaThe stairs are abrupt and the hotel has 5 floors and no elevator. Also, I lost one hour to find the hotel because the address on booking was on another road, not the road where the hotel is. The adress on booking should be changed. No fridge. No cleaning services during 3 days, Sara helped me in this matter bringing me what I needed.
The hotel is on a main road, close to Old Bazar. It is a basic accomodation, with A/C, walk in showee with hot water, a double bed and wifi..Sara from the reception is really helpful..She tried to help me when my TV was not working and with good advices. Also, she printed foe me the boarding pass for return. Thank you, Sara!
