Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineThe breakfast was monotonous during the week we spent at the hotel. However, it was delicious. One side of the hotel faces a busy highway. Traffic does not stop even at night. Soundproofing leaves much to be desired, so choose rooms on the opposite side from the road.
The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming.

HungaryIt is hard to tell what is wrong with this hotel. At first sight nothing, because, it seems, it is fully booked in the peak season. An important question is, how many of their tourist will return in the future. You can build an excellent hotel (and this hotel truly is), and ruin you investment in few years by poor management and/or cheap marketing tricks. I can make a 2 page list, with the small mistakes that they made and which are not allowed in the hospitality industry. These can make the difference between an excellent hotel and fair-enough hotel. The most important negative experience, among the many other, was related to the pool. It is a cheap marketing trick to say you have pools and than to say, yes we have but you must pay for it. In the first day of our stay an aggressive person (at the first sight we thought that he is a drunk Italian guest, after his shirt) sent us out from the pool. He had no foreign langue skills and not wearing any sign that shows he is an employee. Just later we realized that only for the really low level employees is compulsory to wear shirt with the color of your position (waiter, front-desk operator, house-keeper). All the others may look like a tourist. This is stupid. Even as a top-manager, you should proudly wear the logo of your hotel.
The most important things were right. The room was nice and clean, the staff did well their jobs starting with the person in charge on the beach till the front desk (including the prison guard mannered pool master). The breakfast was OK.

Czech RepublicI have nothing to complain about :)
I will start with our arrival when we arrived 4h before checkin and the room was already ready. We had a rental car, which you can hardly do without in Albania. They have a smaller car park right in front of the hotel, otherwise there is a bigger hotel car park across the street where a gentleman looks after it. I appreciate that the hotel is open 24/7. The hotel was beautiful as in the photos, everything like new, air conditioning everywhere. We are a young couple and it was great to have young support staff working everywhere. We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. There was a large outdoor pool, but the best part was the rooftop pool on the 10th floor! What I have to praise is their playlist of songs that they played by the pool :) They could add their playlist to spotify :D Plus I appreciate the possibility to borrow a towel for the pool at the reception. As for the food, we only booked breakfast, which was good - more choice of salty and sweet food, fruits, vegetables, desserts, coffee... We also paid for dinner one day, I also recommend it, but we traveled a lot in Albania and we ate at different restaurants. The beach was close, about 100-200 m from the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel, I recommend going there. Somewhere they took cards, somewhere we had to pay in euros. We thought you had better restaurants and bars if you went towards the beach and took it to the left. If you need a small grocery store, it is on the left side of the beach, about 5 minutes from the hotel. They have quite a few interesting restaurants and bars. There is a great pizzeria in front of the hotel, which is cheap and tasty. I also recommend visiting the 788 cocktail bar, which is about 10 minutes from the beach to the left, there are bean bags and a fire and a good atmosphere. During the day, there are very few people everywhere, but at at night everyone goes to the streets for the night life :).
