I recently stayed at this hotel and couldn't be happier with my experience. The service was truly excellent, and the staff were extraordinary—always helpful and attentive to every need. The entire hotel was impeccably clean, and the breakfast offered a delicious and varied selection. I was so impressed with my stay that I’m already planning to return next summer. Highly recommended!

The staff was extremely helpful. Arbri went above and beyond helping us check in early, showing us around the property and the beach, helping us calling a taxi for the next day. Breakfast was great and the Golem boardwalk was bustling.

A bit old. Air conditioner was good but too strong and blowing right on too of bed. No one was in sea. There were invisible jellyfish and my son got stung right away. Nothing we could have done, but not a pleasant experience.

The staff was amazing Kevin and team were welcoming, accommodating, good suggestions and tips where to eat. Took us to beach to show us where we can go. The hotel had its own chaises longues and umbrellas. Breakfast was good: fruits, yogurt, granola, loved the local cheeses as well. Perfect location across from beach and local restaurants. Free parking just outside the hotel along the street.

The location to the sea great, deck chairs and a umbrella is a must, but provided by hotel, great beach warm water.

The hotel is situated very close to the beach and they have a rather large free parking area. The staff is great and most helpful and they speak good English. The rooms are ok, clean but a bit worn. The expirience in Velmar Hotel was exellent. The staff,owners and all the things were perfect. The service and people were kind, possitive, lovely inthe service od the guests. We are very satisvate. That was the best vacation that we spand. Thans to all expecialy for Kevin and Ardi. We are now friends. We recommend Velmar Hotel... Go there and have your the best vacation. ☺️😘❤️🩵

Not so much didn't like it as I knew in previous reviews that the shower leaked on the floor the day before we left a shower curtain was put up but the water looked like it was coming out of the bottom of the tray maybe sealant would stop the water going onto the floor. A mop n bucket was provided so we just mopped it up each day no problem when the rest was fantastic and great staff

Everything, it's was literally across the rd from the beach, beds were comfy air con was great lovely gardens staff were lovely helpful and Kind especially Arabi and Kevin the women were friendly I don't know their names but they made lovely fresh breakfast each day and cleaned our rooms every other day to a high standard

A wonderful hotel, incredible people, always meet and help: we arrived long before the settlement, around 6-7 in the morning, asked if it was possible to leave things at the reception so as not to walk with them until 2:00 p.m. - we were settled immediately. The rooms are comfortable, clean, in case of any wishes, they will always go to a meeting and try to help, even if it is not the competence of the hotel. In case of any questions, you can always contact the employees - and they will do everything in their power to help you. A special pleasure: we lived in the hotel during the football championship, during this period a large TV was brought out to the lawn in front of the hotel and the matches were broadcast. We took it with breakfast - it was tasty and plentiful. If you plan to rent a car, they will help with this too, tell you where to find a car for you, and advise you on what to pay attention to when renting and how to drive around the country: rules, fines, local driving style, etc. People are simply wonderful, also very friendly and attentive to children. Special thanks to Arbi - during the rest (we were there for a week) he became our friend, we really hope to meet again. We plan to visit Albania again and will definitely stay at Velmar. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you like to hang out with nice, sincere, friendly people! Also, the hotel has its own free sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, which can be reached in a maximum of 1 minute (just cross the road, we were with children). There are restaurants and supermarkets right next to the hotel, food and drinks can be brought to the hotel from the nearest cafe, which was very convenient during football matches. There is also free private parking behind the hotel if you are traveling by car. The sea is wonderful, warm, shallow, but there is also a place to swim, you just have to swim a little further - it is convenient for both adults and children.

The lack of mosquito net, perhaps difficult to install to the sliding door, the railing of the bad was dangerous for small children. We stayed is one room at the ground floor.

The hotel is very close to the beach, the room has a nice terrace, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, we found a good restaurant very close, good breakfast also.

Hotel Velmar in Golem of Kavaja was great! The beach was clean and the breakfast was very good. The vacation there was fantastic and very peaceful.

The location was perfect, very close to the sea and many restaurants and bars in the area, but also far enough from the noise at night. We had breakfast included in our price, which was very delicious. Great place for relaxing and enjoying the beach ⛱️

The bathroom was a bit small. We booked the penthouse and that only applies to our room.

The location was the best. The beach is just across the street. The owners and staff are wonderful and really nice. They help you with everything you need. The breakfast was delicious.

there was nothing to dislike.

The location was great, the first row on the beach, 2min to the beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas provided by the hotel for free. The breakfast was nice, a regular continental breakfast, there are nearby restaurants with affordable prices for seafood and other meat. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating, but generally, everywhere, the people were very friendly. The room was spacious, the beds were comfy. We will return to this hotel when we come back to Golem.

The hotel was a big disaster, the air conditioner didn't work as it should, the water from the air conditioner was leaking into my room, into the bed, the supply to the bathroom didn't work, the hotel was a big disaster
