This is a real gem in any accomodation options in Berat. Unbelievably beautiful place, with the most picturesque terrace with perfect view. Ethnic stone room with beatiful furnishing, yet still practical. Fantastic atmosphere. Super welcoming host. Hotel naturally up the stairs to old town. Never experienced more authentic stay in that historical old center of any town. Hospitality of the host is out of this world and the breakfast was artistic and tasteful experience. Thanx the most.

You can't park directly at the hotel and need to go a few steps uphill.

It is all together which makes it THE PLACE to stay in Berat. First of all the owner is a fantastic guy who provides a five star service and is super generous. The hotel itself has nicely furnished rooms and a terrasse that overlooks parts of the town while being very calm and peaceful. The restaurant with the best price value in town - "Friendly restaurant" is in walking distance and they serve the dishes of your choice at the hotel terrasse.

The staff was so so friendly and helpful. We arrived late night (past 9pm), and as soon as we arrived the host offered us a fruit plate and drinks. After that, we asked for a nice place for dinner and he recommended an amazing restaurant and booked a table for us. It's worth mentioning that the table was the best table in the restaurant's terrace with incredible views of Berat. The hotel has a very cozy and beautiful terrace, and the room was also very nice and big. Finally, the breakfast was varied and tasty.

This was perfection for us. Keep in mind, parking is on the main road and you need to take luggage up some stairs to the hotel.

Everything, this hotel is in a fabulous location. The staff are really helpful, there is dedicated parking (instructions for parking were clear and they helped carry our luggage up the steps to the hotel). Upon arrival we were given fresh fruit and water and the host was really helpful giving advice for the stay (lunch / dinner recommendations which were geat).We have been travelling through Albania, Macedonia and Kosova... this was the best breakfast ever (we're not sure we will ever have better). The beds were comfortable and rooms were well decorated and facilities were great. The room and the hotel terrace have a great view of the traditional houses in Berat. Thanks for a wonderful stay (& the rakia).

getting to the property is not for the faint-hearted - no good for elderly, infirm or unadventurous as it is up steep, cobbled steps with poor signage. We didn't mind but others might.

- be aware that the walk up to the hotel is rather steep (all of Berat is really), but it is part of the experience and not an issue if you do not bring massive suitcases - the room is on the small side so again: no massive suitcases!

- outstanding breakfast (best we had on the whole trip around all of Albania!) - we were offered a fruit plate and water when we arrived which we loved - amazing views for breakfast (also from our double room balcony) - traditional, clean and cosy room - personal experience with lovely hotel owners (they will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and provided us with free coffee when we asked for some drinks on our balcony) - right in the heart of the old town Would highly recommend staying here.

Very authentic and beautiful rooms in the heart of Berat. Our host was very kind: We were welcomed with some refreshing water and a hydrating fruit, as well in the evening we got spoilt with a nice fruit basket - something you really want after a hot day in the city. They made us the best breakfast of Albania!! Lovely terrace with a great view of Berat. We couldn't wish for a better place in town.

The only downside would be that the access is now under construction and it's a bit difficult to walk through it, but it's for the better of the city which is stunningly beautiful!

Great boutique hotel with the most adorable room décor, cozy terrace with amazing views and a giant scrumptious breakfast. The staff went beyond their means to ensure our stay was most pleasant.

the streets around are terrible so it is not so comfortable to access the accomodation. However, it takes only few mins to get there from a parking lot. The lady (one of the owners) does not speak English so it was a bit difficult when cheking in, however, her son is there most of the time and he does speak English. The house itself is an old building so do not expect modern rooms - it is old school, but it´s beautiful :)

The location is just ideal, the view is really nice, especially if you can enjoy it sitting at the balcony or at beautiful terrace where breakfast is served. Owners of the property are really nice - we were given refreshments after check in, or even raki at night :)

Nothing to dislike about the place or the people. Just be aware that it's a short, but quite steep walk up rough paths.

Such a beautiful place and even more beautiful people. Gorgeous Italian furniture and a lovely atmosphere. We were greeted with refreshing fruit and the lovely couple looking after us couldn't have done more to make us welcome. Breakfast was amazing. A feast that just kept coming. Delicious, fresh, local produce all beautifully presented.

Nothing. Although it was quite a walk up to the guesthouse, especially now that there are road works everywhere in the old town. It's not the fault of the guesthouse of course.

Beautiful guesthouse and I got a cute room with a wonderful view. I arrived a little early, the lady offered me some drink and fruit while I was waiting for my room to be ready. The big breakfast was amazing, with homemade jams! I'd suggest taking your time to enjoy it. The owners are a young couple and they are really nice to the guests. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated, and it's located 1 minute walk away from the famous restaurante Lilli.

Yes, you have to climb the street and steps with your luggage, which is inevitable in a historic house in a town like Berat. It all goes down to what you want from your accomodation there. For us, it was perfect.

Excelent guesthouse. Beautiful renovated otoman house, beautiful rooms, everything super clean, comfortable bed, nice shower. Really beautiful view from the balcony. Excelent location in the center of the historic neighbourhood. Parking spots reserved for the guesthouse available on the main street. Breakfast was a feast both regarding the quality and the quantity. Definitely would stay again.

There was nothing not to like :)

Really beautiful old restored building in the middle of the old town. It was a little walk up from the main road - maybe not best selection for elderly people or families wiht small children. the road was under construction - so maybe it will be better soon - still as itwas up on the hill - it will have the climb also in the future. Rooms were so nicely and authentically decorated. Beds were comfortable, there were also blankets. Bathroom was quite tiny - still with good quality and all the room was really clean. Cooling worked well. And what was the best - this was service. Host was all the time available - brought you fresh fruits, cold water and wine, when you needed one :) Breakfast was also super - wide selection and different in every morning (we had 2 nights there).
