Friendly service, stunning landscapes, cozy atmosphere

Gorgeous guest house right at the beginning of the Valbone-theth trail head (much closer than many of the other guesthouses so saves you a lot of walking at the beginning!) Beautifully designed chalet with the mountains all surrounding. A large stove fire was lit while we were there in the main area/restaurant which was divine with the cold evenings. Great value for money, including the food and drinks. Hosts were kind and friendly.

We were here late in the season so there were limited menu items available at the restaurant. Totally understandable given when we were here.

Unfortunately our ferry ride was in a downpour of rain. We were cold and wet when we arrived. Owner immediately lite a fire in our room. While the room warmed up he recommended sitting in the restaurant where he had another fire going. Amazing service. An added bonus, hotel is located a very short walk to the trail head for Theth.

Great location (if you’re looking for an easy start to the hike to Theth), it’s quite a bit outside of the town but don’t expect much of the town itself so not really a problem. Clean room with comfortable bed, warm shower and nice views outside. Host even offered to heat the room (was not necessary)

We had a lovely experience at this hotel. It was cold and raining when we arrived, but the owner quickly lit a fireplace in our room, making it warm and cozy for the night. The restaurant area was also warm and welcoming, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner of fresh fish, homemade fries, and a delightful dessert. In the morning, despite the rain, the owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with covers for our backpacks and arranging a bus to take us to the start of the hiking trail. The hospitality was outstanding, and the atmosphere was always pleasant. Even with the clouds, the views were amazing. Hot water in the shower was a big plus too! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy stay before the hike with wonderful hosts.

Great location, only a 10min to the start of the Valbona to Theth hiking trail! Lovely little restaurant for dinner and great staff. The room itself was super nice, clean and cosy with a little heater which was great with the unexpected cold weather that came through whilst we were here.

Perfect location if you’re hiking from Valbona to Theth, it’s only 5 minutes away from the trail start point. The accommodation is also beautiful and scenic. They offer a breakfast package if you’re leaving early.

With the space available, the bath room / toilet should be better organized, at least with a curtain, so the water could be better managed during showering.

Like many others, I visited Valbona for the Valbona Pass. I chose this hotel coz it's close to the hiking trail & the price is right. The surrounding nature is fantastic, the room is cozy & the staffs are friendly.

Great location just on the hiking route. We rented a room-this is a small separately standing house, clean and enough for two. The hosts and the personal were super nice and hospitable, there is very nice restaurant on the territory as well. The transfer can be organized directly from the venue.

The breakfast could deserve more attention. Few options, not in buffetstyle but served at the table.

Location was perfect. Just a small walk to the valbone-Theth hike. We had a small seperate cottage, cozy and big enough. Beds were really comfortabele. The host made our stay very good, nice and had great food every night for dinner. Made us a lunch package for the walk when we would miss breakfast.

Our room in the hotel was a very nice and cosy house for 4, very simple but with a wonderful view over the mountains. The hotel can be easily reached by foot from the centre of Valbona. Breakfast is good and the host very nice. It is a 10m walk from the beginning of the Valbona-Theth trail.

Apartment is located quite close to the start of the trail from Valbonë to Theth. The room is clean and have a lovely balcony There is a huge terrace in the main building with the stunning views from it. You can order food and eat there The host was very nice and responsive I’d recommend staying in this place

Everything in the mountains is cash only, so make sure to bring enough cash to pay accommodations! The drain in the bathroom was slow and the water filled up quickly from the shower.

Comfortable room with a bathroom inside, perfect place to relax after the Theth and Valbone hike! The food at the guesthouse was good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Nice location, it's one of the first hotels on the paved road when you reach Valbone. It is about a 30 minute walk from the end of the trailhead.

On the other hand it is around 2km away from the main hub of the village. Make sure to have a visit to this wonderful village

Great value for money for the location and proximity to the Valbone - Theth hiking trail. Room was clean with all the essentials. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was a standout and the view was stunning!
